LArs is quoted as saying the album is the "Loudest Fu*king Album ever"

also...

Metallica are featured in the June issue of Revolver magazine, with a write-up on St. Anger and the events surrounding the band in the past. Here is an excerpt from the article:

St. Anger - loud, complex and unremittingly brutal. The album is easily the bands most purely metalic offering since 1988's ...And Justice For All. Heavy riffs and wicked time changes abound and instruments jump out of the speakers with demonic fury. St. anger is merciless; just when you think a song is heading for an exit, another monster riff comes along and knocks you on your ass!

Also there has been a new review put up on intersandman.com of the first 5 songs from ST.ANGER you may be plesantly suprised.  The review isnt from the metallica camp either, it is from a sweedish metal magazine, a they say it is absoulutely brutal, make sure to check out.

Over on IGN in a few of their previous Q&A pieces they said that word from the development communities is that we shouldnt expect the next systems till at least 2006.

6
I have to say that I wasnt to fond of Banjo, I found it pretty boring.  I loved Perfect Dark though, and Conkers bad fur day was a riot.

I dont think that SFA was bad, It was a good game.  But Zelda just has so much more spunk, and I feel like I need to keep playing.  SFA just didnt do that for me. SFA did have brilliant Graphics though.

7
I still havent beat SFA,   I have notice that nothing much happens though, I am 50% done and there has still only been 1 boss.

Hey what did Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker get in EGM?

8
Starfox was no doubt a good game, but it doesnt have that Nintendo magic that Zelda does.

In my opinion, Limb Bizkit and linkin parks presence on the bill will only help metallica look better.  Think about it, two talentless loser bands play before you and then you come on and play 2 hours of ripping technical metal, it only makes you look that much better.

Metallica is probably the last band that will have new material leaked early, it is almost an impossibility since they record in their own stuidio, they dont go to recording studios like most bands.

As for the guy who said they are irrelavent, Is he braindead.  Is there any question that millions of people are eagerly awaiting this CD?  Not at all?  Is ther any question that this album, bad title or not, will easily go platinum?  Of course it wiil.  Metallica is still one of the MOST relevant bands out there.  Who does he consider releavent, good charllote, sum 41, avril lavigne?

these have a much higher resolution than standard DVDS so will look much better, obviously you have to sacrifice the extras

I would like a setup like that been planning on replacing my 32" Widescreen Sony for a plasma, but just dont know

Superbit DVDs dont have a higher resolution.  They just run at a higher bit rate.  For example, "the ring"  runs at 7.79 MB per second.  Which is near a super bit level. but it still runs in 480p like every other DVD.   you may be thinking of the upcoming HDdvds that run in 1080i.

Nintendo Gaming / Does the rest of your family play the cube?

I play as much as possible, when I'm not busy.  My brother(18) only plays if there is a game that tickles his fancy.  Other than that He wont play much.  GTA VC was the last one that got him, he wouldnt stop playing it, before that it was ATV offroad fury 2 (he only has a PS2)   I have all 3 in my room.

My mom hasnt played a game since the NES.  and then she only gave it a slight try, she said it was when her 5 year old son takes the controller away and says "no mom, like this" that she didnt want any part of it.

My dad liked the original Mario bros game.  But he hasnt played anything since then except the time I got him to play madden 94 on the genesis.

My one sister (22) will play only if it is a game she like, she really like super monkey ball 2, and mario party 4.  She also really likes resident evil, and silent hill.

My other sister (22)  doesnt play games. She may give a game a try but then wants nothing to do with it.

I didnt actually get my parents, uncles, aunts, and even grandparents to play Gran Turismo 3 with the GT Force steering wheel and they all had a blast.  They really enjoyed it.  I was amazed how much my grandpa liked it.

I really hope that Metriod Prime 2 will have it so you can zoom in with a special sniper beam and also more BIG ASS MONSTERS! I want to feel like I could die at anytime.

I definitely think the difficulty level should be bumped up in Metroid Prime 2.  I mean, the first one wasn't super hard because its a new genre and people have to get used to the controls and what not, but I think the next one needs to be hard.  And about the 2003 line up, let me say that I am overwhelmed and I am almost afraid that I won't get all the good games.....hehe.  Its gonna be hard for me to stay on top of things, because my life outside of videogames is pretty busy.  Hopefully I'll find time to play all these great games coming out

Looks like I might just stop buying Ps2, and Xbox games.  There are too many great cube games coming.

The only game I have got my parents to play lately is Gran Turismo 3 with the force feedback steering wheel. That is the only game I have got them to play since I was 5 or 6 years old (I am now 20, going on 21)  my dad used to like the original mario, but I cant even get him to try now.

Thank god.  They need to thrash once again.  I have been listening to cryptopsy a lot lately to get my super heavy fix.  If you want to hear the greatest drummer on the face of the planet check out cryptopsy, the man has no competition.  I recommend the songs, crown of horns, phobophile, benedictine convulsions, orgiastic disembowelment, Cold Hate warm blood(my favorite) and We Bleed

Splinter Cell is "the" best game for Xbox.  Halo being 2nd.  Metal Gear doesnt compare in gameplay, IMO.
