Yep.

Sorry suffering from a lack of sleep here.

Factor 5 is a German team and DMA is a Scottish team.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the TEV confirmed to be a color combiner? And a pixel-shader is just a cute name for a color combiner.

There was a thread at the Beyond3d forums about the GCN's TEV with a dev getting pretty close to breaking some NDA's and revealing some sexy info about the GCN.

Nintendo Gaming / Nintendo on Life Support?
« on: July 19, 2003, 11:38:56 PM »
The GCN had sold 9.55 million as of March, not May.

So by now the console would have well over 10 million.

Halo
Shenmue 2
Mech Assault
RalliSport Challenge
PSO
Kung Fu Chaos has a few moments of good fun in it.
And Quantum Redshift, if only for the comparison that can be made ot F-Zero when it comes out.

The rest are crap, so don't bother.

Actually they are less then Nintendo's numbers from March, and barring any incidents the GCN would have hit well over 10 million units by now.

Nintendo Gaming / Cube specs?
« on: July 07, 2003, 10:41:48 PM »
Theorhetical specs for GCN poly counts were rumored to be quite low, which is supposedly why Nintendo never listed them.

In real games though the numbers are very similar across all three platforms.

Texture wise the amount of RAM in the Xbox gives it a slight edge in detailed textures. But again it doesn't matter much. And when it comes down to useable texture effects the GCN's TEV unit is almost on par with the Xbox's Pixel-Shader. Both being able to do many things the other can't, though in general the Xbox's Pixel-Shader is much more programmable, and has a larger feature set.

When all of us were complaining it was a 2 MB vid.

2 minutes of a pixelated mess.

This one is much better now.

I'd say wait until better vids are on the net.

The entire vid is mainly a mass of pixels trying ot make up images.

It's not worth it.

Nintendo Gaming / Metal Gear GC has a name!
« on: April 26, 2003, 08:22:21 PM »
"He's baaaaaack." could be in reference to Liquid Snake that just wouldn't die in MGS, or could be talking about Solidus, or even Snakes pappy.

E3 this year is going to be interesting no matter which console you own.

But I'm a member of a forum Xbox365 and we have a guy posting here called Royals that claims to be a writer for a big Nintendo fansite. I'm on a little psychotic brigade to find out which one (if any) he writes for. (his posts seem blatantly against Nintendo)

If you guys can help me I'd appreciate it.
