you must mean 480p not 480i 
the only interlaced mode for progressive scan is 1080i..may seem odd to have that interlaced mode but the resolution is high (1920x1080 !). 480p and 720p are the more common modes. im still a newb on all this..anyone feel free to correct me..im like a sponge!
