We don't need to know details on anyone's sex life. -Bloodworth

Anyway, let's get back to the topic at hand. While I don't mind discussing that stuff, this is a Metal Gear thread. I can't wait for Twin Snakes, I wish I could get this bundle in English. I love those nameplate thingies... I have the Metroid Prime one from Europe...

Yeah, I don't like the whole limited edition system thing either. I think that anyone whose really into games enough to look for limited edition things probably already owns the system.
Some people are just collectors and suckers for that kind of thing. I, for example, have all the US-released L.E. GameBoys...

yes they did and it is based on the japanese pitcher from the cleveland indians. It is exactly like the other cubes, the only differance is you put the disk in the back of it, instead of the front.

Ugh. That joke was... well, OK, I don't find it too insulting, but it was a bit tasteless. I think it's a terrible shame that there's such a stigma attached to homosexuality in sports.

Also, I notice that "g@y" is a forbidden word on the message board. That sucks. I guess it's to prevent demeaning useage by ignorant people, such as "that's so g@y".

In that you are correct, but we don't need you going into details on the rest of this stuff. -Bloodworth

Gee-osh I hope there is some loop hole to get the first two generations of Pokemon games to hook up, I trained a Suicune just for this game.

Sorry, but it's almost definitely impossible. The GBA actually has two sets of hardware inside: GBA 32-bit hardware, for playing GBA games, and 8-bit GBC hardware which handles GB and GBC games. The GBC hardware can only connect to other GBC hardware... So it's almost certainly useless to try connecting a GB/GBC game to the GCN.

I gotta agree, it's ugly. The reverse would have been better, but overall, I'd rather have the flame/onyx version Japan got with Boktai.

Browsing through the used copies at EB tonight, I spotted the original GB Mega Man.  I passed on it though since I was looking for Final Fantasy Adventure, and didn't want to spend much extra.

I got Dr. Wily's Revenge( GB Mega Man I), with box, instructions, and all inserts, off of eBay for $40 last year( or maybe it was earlier this year). I already had II and III, having purchased them when they were new in stores.
Also last year, I bought FFA and FF Legend I, II, and III at GameStop near my college- Still factory sealed!!! Apparently their parent company bought out all the remaining stock a few years ago and distributed it around. I only wish I'd had the cash to by extras for eBay selling. Maybe I should go back there and see if they still have any.
Also, I notice a lot of other gaming sites posting this news without a source. Looks like you got a nice scoop.
