Nintendo Gaming / RE: FF CC comercials? Thoughts?
« on: February 03, 2004, 08:36:39 AM »
I agree with Berto2K, I actually think the commercials look really cool. They have a fantastic look to it, and if you already know the concept of the game (that these adventurers are using the crystal to purify the world) then it makes perfect sense. My only complaint: definitely not enough actual game footage.

With all those titles mentioned, though some are purely speculative, I do think that the GC will last a mininum 8 months from now, though I wouldn't put it past Dec. 2004 since we should all know about next gen systems by then, and all three systems will have the same problem by then.

Here's hoping that we'll get backwards compatibility with the Cube.... it'll definitely help the PS3 sales, and possibly X-Box Next.

Thanks guys... I will probably pick it up as soon as I can find a deal on it.

On the subject of missing moves...

Does this kill it? I don't have an X-Box or PS2, though I played the original SSX Tricky on a friend's PS2. When I heard about the Cube's missing tricks and lackluster framerate issues in reviews, I passed...

I'm willing to forsake the online play, I don't really care about that anyway. From what I've heard, the load times are better and the frame rates are the same or better than PS2 for the most part. Are the missing tricks a dealbreaker?
