Nintendo Gaming / RE:Great Series that need to be re-made or ported
« on: June 11, 2004, 07:13:27 PM »
I barely post here but here is a list of games that should be remade into something for todays world.

1) The Adventure of Lolo. HAL, what the hell. These were great puzzle games and very addictive. Then HAL gave them the shaft. What have they done since then? All I can remember is that LoLo and LaLa become very simple bosses in Kirby SuperStar for the SNES. They also made guest appearances on the cartoon too. I'd love to see HAL make another game after them.

2) Saturday Night Slam Masters. A very fun wrestling game made by CAPCOM on the SNES. They did make a sequal for the arcades but was very rare. With the new 3-d realm they could make a kickass version. Just look at Ultimate Muscle. That game has high flying moves and they could do the same for SNSM.

3) Duck Hunt. A lot of people want a remake. Just there's one bad thing. NO Gun! It would be interesting to see what nintendo could do to expand the game play and levels.

Theres more games out thre like Joe and Mac, Punch Out, Pokemon 3-d RPG, etc. But the 3 i mention are the ones I would really like to see be made.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: For those who didn't buy Beyond Good & Evil...
« on: February 20, 2004, 08:54:06 AM »
Well, I dont post very often here but I decided to post to this topic. Beyond Good and Evil looked like a good title to pick up but there's many other games out there I would rather play. I own both ps2 and gcn. Its hard enough as it is when there is normally a game I want each month that is good. Like this month I bought Final Fantasy: Crystal Cronicles. Even though I wont play it probably until April or maybe sooner, I would rather get a game that would come from a better company. I can tell you right now that I am not a Ubisoft fan.  Let me get to the point, right now I have other games backed up to play. The current games I am playing are Final Fantasy X-2 and Sonic Heroes. Once Sonic Heroes is done I will pop in Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.  Once Final Fantasy X-2 is don I will pop in .hack//quarantine. Once Resident Evil is finished, then will come time for FF:CC. By that time I would already have gotten MGS: Twin Snakes and not of played it. AS you can see its hard enough for me to catch up with any game so I wont bother picking it up. Probably when summer comes along I will probably get into the lackluster titles I wanted to get when I didnt have the time to.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: 3rd Party Blues
« on: September 02, 2003, 02:26:38 PM »
What are you talking about? Nintendo does have great third party support.

The only 1st party Nintendo games I own are F-Zero GX, The Legend of Zelda OoT/Master Quest, Metroid Prime, and Super Smash Bros: Melee.

My 3rd party games are Godzilla: DAMM,  Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Sonic Adventure: DX. Soul Calibur 2, SSX Tricky, and Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs New Generations.

I plan on only getting two 1st party games this year coming and they are Pikmin 2 and Super Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

My List for 3rd party games are Wrestlemania XIX, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, P.N.03, Star Wars: Rogue Squadren 3, SSX 3, Viewtiful Joe, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, and The Simpsons: Hit and Run.

Well at my local Blockbuster the shelves for the games are all equa except for ps2. The ps2 has 2 shelves front and back. X-Box and GC each have a shelf back and front.

I heard Microplay got bought out by a different company a few months back.

I notice though that Coconuts(a place like Suncoast, FYE, etc) doesnt care much about the GC. They have one little section which is messy and the X-Box/PS2 sections are big and nice looking.

Normally though if your looking for a first party title, Blockbuster normally gets them in before the 3rd party titles.

In conclusion, if your looking for a place to get games. Go to Gamestop or EB Games.

Nintendo Gaming / Rareware

First post here, I normally check this site a couple times aweek and now I felt like posting.
Hearing all these people crying that Rare was mad awesome(they were alright), and them mention the games can get annoying. Peeps, you can't control what happens. You just got to let it go and move on. It would be cool if Zoonami would be bought.

By the way, how much is Star Fox 2(Armada?) finished?
