It's amazing because I periodically play shooters and I'm not half bad at it. I was super excited for Splatoon and I played online and love love love it but then after a couple days I found my 3ds back in my hand. Then they unlocked ranked mode and tried it. Ranked mode is some hardcore stuff. Those games can get seriously intense unlike anything in turf war. Turf War I feel like sometimes it doesn't matter what I do because whatever I do won't save the team but in Splat Zone one person can ruin your whole game or you can carry a team. It feels like you matter in Splat Zone much more so than in Turf War. It's crazy to think that Nintendo on there first try can make something appeal to someone that doesn't play shooters and to someone that knows there way around two sticks. In fact the some of the Amiibo challenges are harder than anything I've done in a shooter. Only having a certain amount of ink to complete some of the single player levels is so difficult that it took sometimes upward of 15-20 tries before I actually got through it
