I heard mention of Star Wars games, anyways, I suggest they try out Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I just picked it up and I swear the Multi is better than SSB:M!  It's great fun to just run around and kill 10 other people with your lightsaber.  And The Single player is a good FPS, I haven't even gotten to the part where you get lightsaber and force powers, but so far I've been having a blast. I suggest at least looking into a rental.

Nintendo Gaming / Miyamoto interview! Heaps of news!
« on: February 22, 2003, 04:42:59 AM »
Whoever was talking about making a stinky game or whatever, I said nothing about that. You have to face the facts that the majority of people who bought GTA are casual gamers.  I don't even think this is an arguable point.  There are just more casuals out there.  And they are not going to dish out the money to pay for all the stuff to get the GBA GC connection.  I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I use it myself.  But it's simply too much hassle for casual gamers to get into, that gives them just a little added bonus.

I think Nintendo really needs to get off the GC GBA connectivity. This is NOT what is gonna get them GTA sales.   They should definitely start putting in old n64 games for preorders like with Zelda. I mean quarter of a million before the preorder program hadn't even started. That's not too shabby folks.  Granted, it is a New Zelda, but there's just something about getting stuff free that intices people.

Nintendo Gaming / Are you satisfied with your Cube at the moment?
« on: February 20, 2003, 05:49:09 PM »
Definitely Yes

I've had mine since the day Gamecube came out.  I make very little a week working and in hard classes at school (40 bucks or so a week only) So I'm mostly a renter.  ED, RE, RE:0, Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, Potter, I'm very selective with my game choices. Basically If I can beat it in a rental, there's no way I'm shelling out 50 bucks for it.  I still have about 15 games and I consider them all to be AA or above, so that just shows the quality of the cube.  I lived on the launch titles till whenever Sonic came out then I was addicted to that for a couple months till ED and Mario came along, and I have been satisfied lately with my Christmas presents. Plus I bought Skies of Arcadia Legends and i am VERY PLEASED (definite top ten for me games played) and of course got the Wind Waker preorder disc the other day, just getting into Ocarina again, but I'm sure it'll hold me over till the goodness that is Zelda. If not I've still got Fusion, LttP, and both Oracles to play. (I need to play more and stop wasting my time on message boards lol)

Nintendo Gaming / Skies of Arcadia Legends = Great Game

Air Pirate Vigoro/Sky Fang/Golden Hamachou

Has anyone got these yet in NA version? A few of the people over at gamefaqs have got them (Proof:http://s3.cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.asp?board=13415&topic=6600158)
I was wondering if anyone has figured out the trigger for this yet. It's not be Legend, because some people have got it with Bounty King. Any tips would be nice. (Especially if you PGC employees have relations with the employees or somethin, they just respond with a generic email when I send it)

Nintendo Gaming / Skies of Arcadia - best GC RPG

Ahh.....Pirate's WRATH!!!!

What a cool move.

Oh, and to those of you tiring of random battles, get Lambda Burst with Aika, it elminates all the newbie enemies in one hit. Also, once you collect I think 9-10 Moonfish, give them to Doc, one of the prizes will be a White Map which lowers random battle rate signifigantly.
