Nintendo Gaming / whatever happened to free speach!

whatever happened to free speach.  looks like moderators just can't take the truth.  i recently put up a post regarding the lack of mature games on gamecube and was shut down by a moderator.  that's pretty g a y in my opinion.  i know this post will be shut down as soon as it goes up but i could care less.  i'm sure i'll also be kicked off the site immediately but that's fine with me, i'll just join a site where you're allowed to speak the truth without be kicked off!

i'd have to say ps2.  it's just kinda become a thing of the past now that xbox and gamecube are out.

i've already downloaded off xbl, it's really cool.

i think fable is a great idea for a game, but with how truly "huge" the game sounds it leaves a lot of room for error.  i just hope it lives up to the hype.

Nintendo Gaming / lack of good teen or mature games

all right, enough of this, it is just my "opinion" that gamecube needs more games to appeal to more people.  i was wandering if anyone knew of any good fps, etc. were coming out for the gamecube.  sorry if i offended anyone, that is just my opinion.

also...  why do you think microsoft is losing so much money on their system and nintendo and sony are making so much?  could it be that the xbox (with its 8 gb hard-drive, dvd player, modem, more powerful video card etc. etc.) cost  a lot more to make?  anyway, that hasn't seem to phase microsoft, they've already said they're in this for the long run.

don't give me this japan crap.  i don't live in japan and could care less why they don't like xbox.  the point is nintendo is falling behind both sony and microsoft and i believe it's because it's viewed as a little kid's system.  a good way to change that would be to bring out some good mature "exclusive" gamecube games.  one or two good "EXCLUSIVE" fps wouldn't hurt either.  you say the controller's too small for shooters.  who's fault is that?

wow, that is pretty exciting!!! yeahhh.  another kiddie title to add to the line-up.

ok, why do you say nintendo is struggling so hard to compete with microsoft and sony?  you seem to know everything?

serious sam, that'll be huge i'm sure.  it already came out for xbox and didn't have any kind of impact because of the fps competition on xbox.  i'm talkin really big 1st party exclusives, something original.

what kind of a response is that?  still no one has answered my question?  you might be sick of hearing it but it's the truth.

Nintendo Gaming / Do you feel the GC is slowly dying away..?
« on: May 12, 2003, 09:33:23 AM »
yeah, that's exactly how i fell.  there's a huge lack of good exclusive games for the mature gamer.  that's why nintendo has been so sucessfull in the past by appealing to all different kinds of gamers.  now they appeal more to young gamers.  nintendo slowly began dying with the loss of first party exclusive mature games.

i'm just stating what i've seen.  i was wanting to know if there are any good mature fps type games coming out, don't just call me a flamer.  i just think in order for the cube to compete they have to release some exclusive "M" games (specifically fps) to compete with games like halo 2.

i agree gamecube is going to need a lot of good exclusives to compete with xbox exclusives like halo 2, brute force, fable, counterstrike, doom III, half-life, etc.

i'm losing all faith in the gamecube to ever be able to compete with xbox or ps2 in the teen or mature games category.  especially in first person shooters.  the one that they have "metroid prime" is no competition with games like halo.  why is nintendo letting a perfectly good system go to waste with kiddie games?
