I wasn't going to use the casual mode until I got to chapter 6 and one of my characters kept dying in that battle. So I made a new file, switched to casual, and like it a lot more.

Hardware-wise, I can't say I have. For me, Wii U's launch lineup was very solid. I would have got six or seven of the launch games if I had had the money. There hasn't been a steady release of new retail since launch, but there have been a couple gems like Monster Hunter and Lego City. And really, is any console's first year on the market ever filled with hits?

It looks like an interesting game. I'm not sure if I'll get it day one or not, though. And yeah, combined with the rest of Nintendo's 2013 Wii U lineup, Pikmin 3 may mark the beginning of Wii U's upward climb.

I'm glad to see it officially announced. I need another shooter on my Wii U with awesome Wii remote controls. I hope Ghosts gets the DLC map packs and such, but I'll enjoy it either way.
