TalkBack / Re: Platinum Games Reveals Astral Chain
« on: March 06, 2019, 11:40:58 PM »
Looks good. I may wait on Astral Chain because I expect it to drop in price pretty quickly. This would be an insta-buy had it been co-op.

Too early to call it.  I would probably buy it REGARDLESS of price... support both Nintendo and Platinum Games.  ASTRAL CHAIN is gonna be one of the most wanted blockbuster video games this Summer.

Once I get the Nintendo Switch (after getting out of debt), I will definitely double dip on Bayonetta 2 and the digital game of the original Bayonetta (and a MicroSD XC memory card).

TalkBack / Re: Implosion: Never Lose Hope (Switch) Review
« on: July 06, 2017, 11:33:51 PM »
Let me just say it in two words--  Excellent review!  The Taiwanese development team at Rayark Studios have done an amazing job at making a console-quality title on mobile.  And (out of nowhere) it's ported to the Nintendo Switch.  Somewhere between Metal Gear Rising and Diablo, Implosion: Never Lose Hope is excellent in different levels.  Full HD at 60fps, terrific voice acting (both in English and Japanese), and an excellent amount of the fun factor.

To the owners of the Nintendo Switch and a Micro SD XC memory card, be sure to add this console exclusive Implosion to your library of the best and unique Nindie games.

EDIT:  To the mods, thank you for mentioning the correction for me.  My apologies for posting the wrong country.

Fan-freaking-tastic!  ATLUS and Nintendo have proven the naysayers wrong.  My mind have completely blown that Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem looks epic, colorful, and spectacular.  Another epic day of being a Wii U owner.  Look forward to the launch in the States soon.

Actually, Leo13, it was just a joke.  Basically a take on the theme music of Megas XLR.  Remember that cartoon?

Any pictures of extra costumes? Witch apprentice as in "sorcerer's apprentice Mickey"?

No... only Nintendo themed extra costumes.

After looking at the one-minute hands-on look at Bayonetta 2, Nintendo and Platinum Games truly know how to tempt both Bayonetta fans and Wii U owners like a BOSS!  Just 12 more days until the Japanese release and October 24th in Europe and here in North America.

October 24th is the date I shatter my piggy bank, go directly to the store, buy Bayonetta 2, and spread the love all across here all the way to the Miiverse.

Buddy, he wasn't flaming you. You're the one that needs to relax and be a little nicer. We're all friends here.

I am relaxed, Oblivion.  I was only stating about the original Bayonetta was made first on Xbox 360.  Just a friendly misunderstanding, that's all.

not if you already have the original on PS3, what makes this version different, better or whatever? If you already have the original this is just a coaster to you not a freebie bonus. What do you mean by enhanced HD? This game was already HD on PS3 did you think this was a Wii game or something?

Welcome to NINTENDO World Report.  I had the ported Bayonetta 1 on my PS3 hard drive.  The framerate wasn't very good and has a lot of screen tearing than the Xbox 360 original.  When I said "enhanced Bayonetta HD", it's based on the Xbox 360 version--  both at 60 frames per second, except the Wii U version is presented in High Definition.  Don't flame me just because I support both Nintendo and Platinum Games.  Just relax and let it go... problem solved.

October 24th seems to be an ideal (not to mention perfect) date for the Bayonetta 2 release.  Not only you get to play this highly anticipated sequel... but Nintendo and Platinum Games have also added a free disc of the enhanced Bayonetta HD at no additional charge.  $59.99 for a 2-for-1 deal.  I'm most DEFINITELY gonna buy it (pre-order or day 1 purchase)!  They truly earn my support 101%.

Three words--  BEST LOOKING GAME!  Not only that, I truly love the mutual relationship between Nintendo and Platinum Games.  Not only the publishers have given the developers complete freedom in making Bayonetta 2, but also deliver megatons more.  I can't wait until this October... the Month of the Umbra Witch!  This collection (including a free Bayonetta HD disc) truly deserves a perfect 10 and then some.

Aaron Brown...  Just want to keep you up to date.  THQ is no longer publishing Devil's Third.  Nintendo is funding and publishing the game.  Secondly, Nintendo SPD is co-developing with Valhalla Game Studios.  Is it possible if you could please update it?

From what I've read from a press release by SEGA and Big Red Button Entertainment, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will be powered by CRYENGINE.  It's not CryEngine 3 as we all assume.

After watching the Sonic Boom teaser trailer, I was impressed.  What really STUNS me are two things--  BIG RED BUTTON ENTERTAINMENT has two guys who used to work at Sony's development studio NAUGHTY DOG.  And secondly, BRBE is using CryEngine on a Sonic title for the Wii U?!  This is of "Over 9000" proportions.  When it launches (3DS format also coming soon), I would be more than honored to play this American-made title from SEGA.

Another masterpiece from the developers at Nintendo Enterainment & Analysis Department Tokyo.  They truly know how to surprise everyone on a global scale... not only the graphics in HD (scaled to full HD), at 60 frames per second... but also as asymmetric 4-player co-op and the overall fun.  This Friday, I'll be ready for the Big N to take my cash and buy Super Mario 3D World!
