Nintendo Gaming / Design error with the SP when it comes to the GBA-GCN link cable?

I have one of the aftermarket link cables... I just got a dremel and trimmed the corners so they do not overlap the shoulder buttons while still locking into the GBA-SP. Works great and modded a friends cable the same way.
