Nintendo Gaming / Vertical Lines in Windwaker
« on: April 05, 2003, 03:15:03 PM »
I've tried on two different tv's.  a 27" Sony Trinitron, and a 27" RCA (some new one thats made for xbox's, has some port for them, since i have an xbox also) Both TV's have the vertical lines, but the Trinitron shows them alot more than the other tv. As someone mentioned, its not rain, although I do know what your talking about with that, its generally only seen during light changes like others have said.

ok so i'm not alone, its only in certain lighting conditions (usually when the moon is up in game), its nothing earthshattering wrong with the game, just a little graphical glitch that was probably overlooked or something.

Nintendo Gaming / Vertical Lines in Windwaker

I've recently bought a gamecube (platinum) and my first game aside from the freebie, was zelda. My question is while riding in the ocean, I see vertical lines in the waves, like graphical errors. Everything else looks perfect, and its only in certain conditions of the game that I see the lines. I have tried on different TV's and still get the same, although its more noticable on my trititron for some reason. Is anyone else having this graphical problem, or is there something wrong with my system/game?

Nintendo Gaming / Gameboy Advance SP Possible Problem
« on: March 23, 2003, 05:44:56 PM »
Ok, I'm new to the whole gameboy advance scene. Last gameboy I played was back when the original came out when i was like, 7. So I was in circuit city today and noticed they were giving away a free game with the gameboy advance SP. So i thought I'd buy it (in addition to buying a gamecube w/ free metroid prime... so 2 free games (: ) Also I picked up a copy of zelda for the GBA. Anyways I get it out and start it up while my girlfriend drives us back to college (3 hour car ride.) I notice when the Light up screen is on, that there is faint blue line at the bottom of the screen when viewed from certain angles. Now is this typical for all GBA SP's? Or Do I have a fluke system. Please can someone get back to me on this, so I can know if i need to replace it or not. Oh btw, this things great, if anyone hasn't gotten one yet, I suggest doing it (:
