When they say "winter of 2004," does that mean early 2004 or late 2004?

General Gaming / Final Fantasy X help (spoilers maybe)

Well maybe the fact that you're getting beat is b/c you AREN'T using the sphere grid.  It's an integral part of the game.  I think you're talking about the boss that you fight on the ice.  Or it could be the one on the boat.  Anyway, Using the Thunder magic is the key...

Great. Another damn Cel-shaded Zelda.  And  people wonder why Nintendo will never get rid of its kiddie image.

Can someone tell me the proper combination of Djinn I need (and with whom) to acquire the whirlwind psynergy?  I'm stuck in Air's Rock and I forgot how to get the whirlwind.

For starters, in the room with the leech monster, you have to grab the leech capsule from the machine, and use the transport to send it down to rebecca.  You must have her use the chemical agent you get by mixing the green and red chemicals in her mixing set to open the capsule and release the leech gem (I believe it's the blue leech).  Rebecca must then use the blue leech to enter the blue door on that floor, and eventually lead her to the green leech.  Use the transport in the save room to  send the green leech up to Billy, and I'll let you figure out the rest

Nintendo Gaming / The Death of a Zelda Fan: my WW experience

Luciferschild is right.  If you wonder why a majority of the gaming world views the Gamecube as kiddie, just look at this freakin' game.  If you ask any Xbox/Ps2 owner to look at Link's character in this game, 99% would say that he looks like he's a toddler running around w/ a load in his pants.  You people just don't want to see how bad this game is ruining Nintendo, all you want to hear is how this Zelda game is going to skyrocket the Big N to #1. Well, all I've heard since the game's release is how bad Nintendo's sales are going.  And to add to the fact that you can get Wind Waker free w/ a Gamecube purchase, and you can see just how desperate Nintendo is.  Just WHY would Nintendo put their "supposedly" biggest game on the market, up for free?  Well, Nintendo better hurry up and make some Pokemon games  and hope they save them from bankruptcy

FFX and FFX-2 are known for their storylines, it doesn't matter what the graphics look like.  Oh wait, Im pretty sure you all said the same thing about Wind Waker, right?  *sigh*

Nintendo Gaming / Wind Waker is the best game ever
« on: April 06, 2003, 08:40:17 AM »
I'm just sitting back here getting a kick out of all of you that, before it's release, proclaimed WW as the greatest of all time without even playing it.  Now that the truth has come out as to this game "falling short" of many people's expectations, you die-hard Zelda fans can just stop trying to put a positive spin on everything.  You come in here and say it is soooo fun and invigorating, but at the back of your mind you're thinking, "Dang, I want the Spaceworld Zelda."  Well, go ahead and replay the game over and over and over again, (for about what, a couple more years?) and still try to think of it as the greatest game ever.  I assure you you will start pissing on WW when the next one comes out

I never said it was, dumb@$$.  But it sure as hell does a better job w/ the graphics engine

You've got one right here.  I'd give the game an "above average" rating, but not great.  The graphics still look crayola-ish.  I don't know why people are over-hyping this game as if it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.  People skipping school just to play a video game?  Nintendo has some really sad fans.  Well I guess just because it's a "Zelda" game and it's the last decent game Nintendo will have on the market until...who knows when, that people put so much time and accolades into a game that will lose its luster, soon.  *Yawn*

You just have to walk all the way back to the train crash to get it.  Go thru the sewer ladder you used to get into the facility.  It will still be there.
