Nintendo Gaming / OFFICIAL Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes Discussion
« on: May 01, 2003, 07:44:23 AM »
"Metal Gear Solid The Twin SnakesTM combines the thrilling story of the original Metal Gear Solid® game with the jaw-dropping graphics and unparalleled gameplay found in Metal Gear Solid® 2: Sons of LibertyTM."

This is a quote from the press release. Notice the "unparalleled gameplay found in MGS2" part. This suggests to the suggestible reader that there will in fact be gameplay tweaks, also more than likely more objectives to go along with those gameplay tweaks.

First off I am down with CS. Sure there are annoying players, of all ages, but there are always other servers. The beauty about these "other" servers are that they are free. Obviously someone pays for them, but chances are not you and definitely not Valve. Nintendo feels and Microsoft knows that server maintenance and bandwidth is not cheap. So here is my brilliant plan.

Nintendo develops and markets a "cube server". Of course I don't know all the technical details but a larger cube throw in a hard drive charge ?$200-$300?. Owner pays for bandwidth, etc. and Nintendo provides server interface software. Yes, No, Maybe? Anyways my two cents.

Stimutacs; I am refering to the additional pargon placements. the most powerful spell one can cast uses seven components, four of which are pargon. there are two empty slots which i'd assume are for larger spells, similar to what Pious uses.

Inside the tome on your spells list page, there are five "slots" on the top where your available power runes are located. We can only use the first three. I'd assume the other two slots are for higher power runes similar to what Pious uses to summon his more wicked creatures. I guess i'm trying to point out that ED's world is much larger than what we explored in this game, and that a sequel or even a prequel could be done easily without having to make up far-fetched events for cohesiveness.
