Nintendo Gaming / Anything RPG discuss it here
« on: May 07, 2003, 07:26:31 PM »
D&D heroes looks cool, it coming out around june on the GC. its got some nice multiplayer, which will be a great substitute until FF:CC.

and is anyone else have a sudden craving for a secret of evermore sequel? that game was really awesome, it had some awesome themes and a nice atmosphere.
kinda reminded me a bit like earthbound, except with a touch of square.

Nintendo Gaming / Billy Hatcher Discussion

after seeing those screen shots, i think this game might be our substitute for banjo-kazooie. i don't know why, but when i saw those, banjo-kazooie kinda popped in my head.
regardless, the game looks interesting.

i get what he's saying.

he wants to know if all of the game's levels will be co-op , or just the redone levels.
but unfortunatley, i have no clue.

that'd be funny if they were referring to soul calibur 2. but that info's already out, so it has to be another actual zelda.

god bless Divx. but how come no one uses divx for the Gamecube? or are there games that take advantage of it? is it too costly, or is it because all mostly we get are ports (i'm just now thinking about it, and the second one is probably the answer?

it seems he has a "time warp" code that he's unwilling to share with us. that's pretty rude, you could at least give us a hint.

you know, that's actually a good question. will they milk the franchise for all its worth? or will they wait a while longer and deliver a great smash hit? or maybe both? yeah, i'd like both.

i live in south cali, and the blockbusters here are also decreasing in gamecube games. but, we have another chain close by called hollywood video. there may be one by you, i dont know how far the store chain goes. they are picking up on blockbusters slack and have a pretty large gamecube selection. it almost rivals the PS2 section, which is about 2 rows long. they also sell just about every gamecube game made, and its where i buy all of mine. and most of the guys that work there are major nintendo fanboys, so they try to limit X-box's shelf space as much as possible.

i dont know if the other stores are also like this, but the one by me is. you guys would love the place.

im not sure but maybe im the biggest fan.

i heard about the game about 6 months before it came out. i was sold when they had those movie trailers on their webstie. those were awesome. and the one i voted for won, so i was happy about that. i bought it the day it came out, at about 9:00 AM. i beat it two days later (i was busy those days). i beat it all three times in 1 week, with a rest day in there. and i've convinced 16 people to buy that game so far.

try to top that. someone probably will though

i hope thats what they're doing. they're setting it up perfectly for it. so far they've left some gaps of story untold, and they could keep doing that until a MMORPG is released, it could be like the final saga of the series, explaining everything. and it'd be awesome to go around killing people like sora does. his twin blades are awesome.

the best thing about pointless threads is that no one can tell you that you're off topic.

yep, stuff with the thingies. has anyone played that one game? yeah the best one. insert some more random crap here.

or maybe here, you decide.

zero: this is how it sounds like it works to me.

basically, you get into a fight, it's in ful 3-d. you can move around everywhere and such. but when you lock on an enemy to attack, it turns into 2-d, like a fighting game (budokai or ssb:m as examples) where it's still 3-d, but you fight in 2-d. and your allies can do this too, from different directions. even though your ally may be fighting to your left, he/she is still stuck on that "2-d plane" of fighting. that's the best i can explain it.

YOU COULD PLAY AS G.I.R. WHEN HE'S THE HOUSE'S COMPUTER!!!

"must obey the taco man"
"but i need tacos, i need them or i'll explode, that happens to me sometimes"

or you could play as Dib, trying to sneak into Zim's house and get past his defenses.

lots of speech is bad. very bad. if only they won't hire crappy voice actors, which is rare in this business. and it takes them a bit longer to send it to the us.
