i think this system could be great! its not a consol system, its portible, yet its not neccisarily as portable as game boy. all we know is that its something that sits between and it has two screens. this to me kind of sounds like a desk top system. (not computer desk top) its kind of a party system, put it down, it'll prolly have 2 player mode built in. 2 screens, why not! it'll probibly try to mimick a PS1 type graphic style, it will obviously be much more powerful than the psp! and it'll be something you can put on your desk, a sick nintendo system with 2 screens! i just hope it has an imac style for the screens! firewire would be sick too!
i think if they market it right, show that this is a totaly new sick idea! this thing nintendo is releasing to battle the psp! good and bad idea! i personaly dont want to spend all this cash to get the most out of these systems!! they called this one, "the third pillar" to the GBA and GC!! but at the same time, in concept its pretty good! but not only that, they are spreadig it out, and is finding new inovative ways of gaming!! if it catches on, it'll be sad when sony puts a radio in it! BUT, if it doesnt catch on, if they dont market it presenting it as god, and if people realy dont take it seriously, stupid people will think its the next gameboy, PSP beatsthis new product leaving bameboy a little bit forgotten.

GBA link support for a 3rd screen wold be great too

yeah! EB i bought it from was sellin it for that too! it was on their shelf, but it wasnt on the main display, it was just placed with the older games that were placed on its side. so it was prety hidden! only ppl who wud get it are ppl who are looking for it, or ppl who accedently stumble upon it

i think metroid converted realy well to 3D, and they are still making 2D metroid games too! zero mission looks great!

thats what they should do with mario! they have the 3D mario, but the side scroller was the game everyone loved! i want to see a mario game using the GBA hardware to its potential before we get one on a high end system!

Viewtiful joe is great! i cant remember the last time i'v been so addicted to a game! and i'm only playing a demo! the game is so simple to play, yet the way you play it is so diverse! like today, i was fighting one guy, went to slow, dodged him, gave him an upper cut, started fighting the guy beside him, the guy i upper cutted hit and knocked down the chandeleer and kills the hurting other guy for me, once i was done w/ him, i jump up in the air, and did an air combo killin the other guy!

and i know thaty there are so many other abilities that u'll be able to unlock in the final version! i cant wait, this is the best game in a long time, i think for sure should win game of the year!

but i dont think it will sell! people will dismiss this game the second they see the name! but if its advertised and people see the game in action, it will kill!

first of all!

then what the hell is resident evil? probibly the most blood and gore your going to see in any video game, and some of the creepyest environments yet! that with a bunch of other games that i dont feel like naming! its not like MGS is the first ever non E rated game for GC

konami isnt making the game dumbass! nintendo second party SK is! you just lost all credibility with this statement! and that brings me to the next point!

doesnt mean that their second parties cant and wont because they can and will! (conkers bad fur day by rare anyone?)

meh, this guy is a dumbass! all he sees games like f-zero and rogue leader, and probibly did no other research as to which other games are coming out! games like soul calibur 2 with link in it! that was a huge step in the right direction! along with getting third parties to help develop their games through the triforce partnership! he even fails to mention viewtiful joe, already one of my favs, its an instant classic and probibly one of the most original and addictive games in a long time (judging from the demo) exclusive for gamecube! no mention of it at all because it doesnt have blood or gore!

this reporter is what is wrong with the buisness! he feels that games are only good if you can blow off someones arm or if the main character looks like a skank! i'm sorry, but nintendo has a great lineup coming with in the next few months and i think they are realy going to go into the next gen in full force with some garunteed amazing exclusives from capcom, namco, sega and wich other companies nintendo is forming strong buisness deals with!

you should think again! after watchin the new trailer of kameo, i can see the posibilities with this game i know for a fact that it will rock! and it looks like something nintendo would make too! it looks like an edgy nintendo game! (thats why they were great nintendo developers)

second parties should take rare as an example as something to live up to and start making games like this!

u know what? its just the way these things go!
wen sega and nintendo were fighting it out! nintedo had gameboy, sega released gamegear! a system that was actualy alot better than the gameboy! but nintendo won cuz they were in the lead

so meh, now we get to today, nintendo is fighting sony! sony is winning and sees the potential in the hand held market! and tey feel that once again they can beat nintendo at its own game! they think they can take the handheld market and take it from nintendo!

its a pretty smart move by sony!

i think if nintendo wanted to stay on top of the game in the portible market, they will realy have to step it up! nintendo should not make the system as powerful as the n64, cuz the ps will be able to contend with that! instead, make the next gameboy a portable version on the gamecube! or something comprible to it! and just kill sony like that!

i love what they did with metroid pime! their goal was to have an old school metroid game that felt like super metroid! so what they did is they just made a game based b4 super metroid, there fore they could make it more old school! now that they've established that they can do what ever they want! hell, on the big systems they just might keep it to side storys and have the side scrolling metroid asthe ones that progress the story!

but i think eventualy we will see a side scrolling metroid on one of the bigger councils

you are so right! i agree with everything you sed! gamecube owners have it for nintendo games! why do you think sonic sold so well? b/c every1 who owned the council loved sonic vs mario back in the day! and sonic on nintendo sold like crazy! same if all of a sudden nintendo went 3rd party and sold on other systems! mario would kill on ps2!

but when i think now, nintendo can secure a cuncil to be #1 if they went second party! like say microsoft bought nintendo, i think they would have a good chance of takin the buisness! same as if nintendo became second party to sony, there is no chance microsoft would survive!

meh, i dont like it! i was excited about this starfox game, but now i dont know! i dont like the fact of fox runnin around and stuff! and there is also gonna be co-op mode, wich means that the single player mode probibly wont be liniar anymore, changing it to all range mode levels which will make it like any other flying game! i dunno, i want an old school rail shooter starfox game!

i'm not reading this whole post so....

i always knew they werent gonna use the cell! and i dont think sony ever intended on using the cell! they knew they were making it, but knew it wouldnt be ready in time! BUT in order to get the word around on the ps3, they talked aboutthe cell and how it'll be amazing! now, once all the talk and attention about the cell is over, they quietly slide in and say that they cant get the cell to work in that time! but people who havnt followed n e of the news still think the ps3 is gonna be this monster machine with a crazy processor that can live your life for you!

i dont feel likre reading this whole post but...

no matter what, people will buy the ps3 no matter what! no matter what, it will most likely sell the best even if it is more expensive! and people will look at those extra features and will think its more advanced b/c of it!!! people will not flock to nintendo b/c it doesnt have all the rest of those features! believe it or not, i kno alot of ppl who have chosen the ps2 over gc cuz of the DVD, its a selling point!

developers will not flock to nintendo b/c the other systems have all these extras that have nothing to do with the games! they will probibly even use these extras for their advantage!

and also! if more ppl buy the PS3, more developers will makes games for the system no matter what! hell, if GC, xbox, and ps2 were all equal right now, and the developers could just pick and choose which system to make their game for, do u think they would choose ps2 as their #1 choice? hell no, its the hardest system to develop for and the results are much less then what can be done on the others!

but since PS2 had a comanding lead, there is no choice but to make the game on the ps2, cuz even though they may may have it easier making the game for something else, the PS2 is where the money is!

no see, there is no way they can replace rare!!! know why rare was great? cuz their games felt like nintendo games!the quality look and feel felt like something that came out of nintendo! but what made them great was that they were nintendo with a little edge to them and had their own personality! they were kinda like the  nintendo underground! they showed it in all their games, but in conker's bad fur day, they pulled out all the stops and showed who they realy were! they broke the mold, they were their on their own, but still, the game felt like it could have been made by nintendo!

retro, silicon knites and the others! good developers, but you cant compair them to rare!  and thats y my most anticipated game of the show is perfect dark! what should have been nintendo's AAA system seller is now goin to xbox where it probibly will get over shadowed by halo 2!

i will look at alot of games and say, cause of their nature, they would do ALOT better on other systems than nintendo! such as splinter cell or red faction 2! hell, if wolfenstein came out for gamecube, it probibly wouldnt do well b/c gamecube owners are different and we have a different mind set than other gamers!

sonic is one game that i think would do much better on gamecube than the others! i feel that it will sell pretty good for ps2, wont do too well for xbox, but gamecube owners will flock to this game!
