Nintendo Gaming / NINTENDO GAMES = BAD REPLAY VALUE
« on: July 12, 2003, 05:42:46 PM »
I play most of my nintendo made games a few times through at least. Which is more than what I can say for most other games. I think nintendo-made games have an above average replay value. I mean, I still play AC for crying out loud. But maybe that's just because I'm a freak of nature or something.

is it just me or is the second quest harder? I mean, the enemies take out more damage!

Nintendo Gaming / Animal Crossing, what's soo good about the game?
« on: March 01, 2003, 11:37:13 AM »
I admit I dont pick it up as much as when I first bought it, but I've already logged more hours into this game than any game I've ever played. It was worth the money right there, and it really helped ease the Nintendo dry spell last year. I still enjoy my town though.

Well, you're right, it IS repetitive. But it's not as bad as you might think. You see, you do repetitive things but different things always seem to pop up. The dialogue itself is funny enough to give it a chance. What makes this game so great is you can just kick back and enjoy life in the town, make the ultimate looking pad. Fish and trade items via password over the phone, net, or whatever. It's a very addictive title and I've enjoyed it since I bought it back in September when it was released. I admit, this game isn't for everyone, but my friends and I already have an AC cult around here, and little stories to tell about our expieriences in our town.
Yes, the game is childish, but I still enjoy it so much. It's the only game I have that constantly changes, and theres nothing I can do about it. Heh.

Oh yeah, and I'm 18, if you were wondering about my age.

Damn, i'm a minority here. Sunshine was downright pretty, and a blast. All the negative talk about it made me not want to play it again... but the other day i was feelin' bored and popped it in. I forgot just have fun and beautiful the game is.

I think the only thing that turned most gamers off to it was the beginning... with the ugly FMV and teh disorienting beginning boss.

Trust me, once you get used to the game, and become good at teh controls... well, you love playing it... because you look so damn cool doin it. Heh.

Nintendo Gaming / Hardest Single Thing To Do On Gamecube?

CRAP just beating TS2 on HARD is one of the single hardest things to do, this side of trying to do a real live  "morph  ball" move.

Nearly broke my back on that.

LOL, maybe i hold WAY too much confidence in the big N, but I'm still thinkin' that they will pull out a new franchise or something that may raise one of your eyebrows, or maybe even both. They are working on new stuff, i do believe...

Nintendo Gaming / Zelda: OoT:Master Quest Help Thread
« on: February 23, 2003, 06:14:59 AM »
How you got the sinking lure in ocarina of time was you just walked around teh tiny streamt that is flowing into the pond. Keep looking, you should find it, they didnt mess with anything outside of the dungeons in Master Quest. (I could be wrong, but nothing so far)

I HAVE A QUESTION!!

In master quest, how the crap do you get anywhere in the Ice Cavern. When you first get in there, you go past the rolling boulders, and then theres the 2 spder dudes, and an ice blower guy... heeh, cool descriptions... anyway, after i kill them, what do i do then? There is a door too high for me to reach to the left, and the one ahead of me is blocked by white transparent blocks. So whats up with that? Please help, i've been havin such a blast with this game.

(wow 31 and still having playing games, go you, I suppose I'm gonna stop playing games when I hit the 20 mark)

Ehh, thats probably not true. I know plenty of "over 20 yr olds" who still play games. I dont think the love of games will ever leave ya. Especially if you're a Nintendo fan.
