Hey, that's how I just beat that game. So unbelievably awesome. On hard, its a completely different game. Although, some people might not like Ikaruga because it is too short, I just play it so much because it's so addicting.

S8N, did you get Skies of Arcadia Legends? I hear that's pretty good. Or did you get it on DC?

Yea, anyone who has a video game system should buy this game, unless you absolutely cannot play fighting games whatsoever because you hate them so much. I can't wait to get this game, I still play the original all the time with my friends, 50 matches at a time.

Yea, some of the enemies think they're the man of steel, I would shoot them and they wouldn't react at all, it really pissed me off and took away any sense of realism or satisfaction. If you want a good fps I would just stick with TS2, I only rented Nightfire, the single-player is pretty fun, but TS2 just destroys it in every other category.

Yea, that's why I haven't really considered getting Xbox at all since both GC and XBox launched in 2001. Back then I was really torn because of Halo, but I got GC for the games I knew would come out for it (including Perfect Dark and other Rare games SONOFABITCH!) If I bought an Xbox i would probably buy just 4 games...Halo, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Splinter Cell(coming out on GC anyway but the Xbox version will probably still be the best one), and Shenmue 2. I have a 56k connection so I could care less about Xbox live. I might think about getting an Xbox once some more great games come out for it, like Fable, Psychonauts, Halo 2, and Perfect Dark Zero. I just don't have the money to spend now anyway. I'm more than satisfied with my GC and GBA, especially since I just finally got Advance Wars for GBA. Damn that game is so awesome.

oh stop denying that the graphics are below average. I'm going by the trailer on the OOT/MQ preorder disc, and the game does not look too great. But on the other hand it looks pretty fun. I'm definitely going to check it out when it comes out, I loved the first Wario game on GB, as thats the only one I've ever played.

Man that music was great. I guess you didn't play Super Metroid. Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion with regards to the music. But the sound definitely deserved at least a 4. Personally, I think the music is great, especially the status menu screen(best damn menu screen ever), the Meta-Ridley boss battle, and Magmoor Caverns. The sound effects were amazing, too. One night I was playing and I realized the lightning in the Tallon Overworld. I looked up and saw the lightning cracking. Then I turned up the sound effects and turned down the music, so I could hear the lightning better. I don't know why...but it was just so sick.

I've come to the conclusion that Splinter Cell deserved to win GOTY. Do you why? Because my dumbass friend has it on XBox and hasn't even beat the second level. He doesn't even play his Xbox at all.

I find myself really looking forward to this game. It looks really damn cool, and it's a old-school game that is insanely hard. I'm definitely going to pick this game up once I finish Zelda:TWW. I didn't think it was going to be a big release, but I stopped by EB today (to finally buy Advance Wars) and I saw Ikaruga boxes with stickers for pre-order on them. I didn't pre-order it myself...but I'm definitely going to pick it up. It will be a great change of pace after Zelda.

Now I'm going by you guys...but I hope this is either a new MGS or a remake of the NES games, because I've already played MGS on the PC, and it wasn't that great. It was good, but not awesome, but that's probably because I just played through it last year. Anyway, I'm just happy to see some support from Konami. I really don't know why I'm even speaking like it's coming out already. But I like to be positive I guess.  If this game does come out make sure all you guys buy it (I definitely will) because maybe then Konami will start making some other games for GC. Castlevania and Contra perhaps...? I think GC is really starting to turn around, right when it looked like GC was going the way of the Dreamcast...

Guys calm down, those scores are awesome...its probably not a PERFECT GAME...and if its not perfect it doesn't deserve all 10s. The only games I've ever played that I think deserve a perfect score are probably OOT and Soul Calibur.

I'd have to say unlocking and beating Ace Mode in RL, because I have absolutely no idea how to do it.(I guess get all golds?) I haven't even gotten silvers in all the levels, or maybe I have...I'm not sure. But getting any gold is so insanely hard...I never even felt like trying. SMS I did not think was THAT hard, I got all 120 shines. The only slightly hard thing was getting all the blue coins...but I liked searching every part of each level to find them. And Master Mode in SMB 1 and 2...maybe I'll go back one day and try to unlock it and beat it in SMB, I don't know about SMB2, I just don't like the levels as much. Getting all golds in all the challenges and arcade leagues in Timesplitters 2 is pretty hard too. But I've actually gotten a few platinums. I haven't even started story mode yet. I think the challenges and arcade leagues are just pure fun, but those pare in comparison to the multiplayer, which is unbelievably fun.

Good point mouse_clicker, but if Nintendo can make an online service just as or close to as easy and reliable Xbox Live is, Nintendo's games will blow Xbox's out of the freaking water. Mario Kart alone would be awesome....I just wish F-zero was online...and I wish I had broadband. The only game that will awesome on Xbox live though will be Halo 2...I can't wait till my friend gets that. JUST REVEAL AN ONLINE PLAN AT E3 NINTENDO so I can start begging my parents to get broadband in advance. (Not that I'm not already trying...but I'd take the persuading up a notch if I knew I could play Mario Kart online.)

Man i thought Rogue Squadron had bump-mapping that was equivalent or even better than Halo, that game just looks so amazing. And yea, I think Metroid looks better than Halo, but that's because of all the little details and the art direction. And plus, Halo only runs at 30 fps, while Metroid and Rogue Squadron run at 60 fps. And who cares all that much? If the game looks awesome, who cares how it's done? Halo, Metroid, and RS all look great.

Man that is awesome, you've already played SC2...I don't have any arcades worth a damn within miles of my house. And yea, Mission Battle mode was awesome, it took a good amount of time to beat, too. It got really hard toward the end, too. I actually threw one my controllers across the room. When I finally had beaten every battle and unlocked everything and had bought all the art....I was so damn happy...I was just a bit mad that the only reward was a new title screen background. Anyway, SC2 looks like it's going to be awesome.

I've been playing a ton of Soul Calibur lately, ever since I took out my Dreamcast after having it packed away for a few months. I just can't wait for a new version with updated graphics, new moves, new characters (Link!), and that weapon master mode sounds pretty damn cool. I'm just a little anxious considering it's not coming out until August! But, if it is a worthy sequel to what is possibly the best fighting game ever, I'll be playing that game for another 4 years like with the original. Hopefully, I will have more competition this time around, since only one of my friends has DC and Soul Calibur, and at least 4 of my friends will buy SC2, although not all for GC.

Really cool ideas LMSx, the one with the visor cracks and stuff would be unbelievably amazing. I'm imagining all that stuff in my head. But I think I'm one of the people that hoped they would save the next Metroid for the next Nintendo system. Make it the best launch game ever made. Anyway, I hope they make MP2 afer Metroid Fusion...which would be Metroid 5 I think. They should expand on the new abilites that Samus has...I can only imagine what Retro can think up. And those visor ideas that LMSx made up would be so damn cool.
