Nice review I agree 100%

I was there at the edmonton concert, expecting it to be pretty much exactly like VGL(I went the first time they came to Edmonton), maybe even a little bit better given their history with Dear Friends etc.

I'll copy my mini-review of the concert that I posted on another forum:

Well I just got back from the performance.

The concert was slightly lower than my expectations. First of all there was no music from Final Fantasy(though they did play Kingdom Hearts). And secondly the concert was quite short, including the 15-20 min intermission, it ended up only being about 1:45 hours, so really there was only about 1:30 music.

If I had played more of the games that they performed I would have enjoyed it a little more, but the only piece they played that was from a game I have played was Kingdom Hearts.

Having said that, I still did enjoy pretty much all of the music, some of it was fantastic, but I was pretty much unable to relate to any of the pieces. As I left the auditorium, I could hear many other fans that were dissapointed that there was no music from Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger, and Metal Gear. In fact in the parkade, someone cranked up some FFVII music in their car, my guess to compensate for the lack of FF in the concert.
