Nintendo Gaming / RE: "Earth-Shaking" News From Konami
« on: February 03, 2007, 06:52:50 AM »
I am guessing its the new Castlevania (which includes Rondo and SOTN as unlockables) on the PSP.

I wish it was a 2D Castlevania for the Wii.

Like I said its not as if they do not have any other BIG titles to release.

They probably just pinched the screenshot from Nintendo Japan as SMW is out there on VC.

I hope they increase the amount of images in the articles, they are a bit sparse so far.

Why didnt Nintendo just hold it back till the Ghost thing was fixed, its not as if they have no other classics under their hats.

I would rather have the Super NES one anyways.

My Wii updated from 2.0E to 2.1E today.  Not noticed any change must be bug fixes.

Anyone got a change log?

I know Nintendo do not want to release all the big games at once but it has been pretty weak so far

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wiimote battery life?

I switched NiMH rechargables as normal batteries were only lasting me a week.

I have noticed the Wiimotes speaker to be a bit more crackily with the rechargables.

I will be getting it when its released in the UK as apart from Wario not much else is due out I like the look of.

I think the confusion was you earlier said 'SSF2T' which is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo instead of 'SF2T' which is Street Fighter 2 Turbo which did come out on the SNES.

And by ROMs I mean the digital game files you can download with the Wii. :p

I mean is it legal to suddenly say that you cannot play a game that you purchased.  It seems he was asking if Nintendo might suddenly change formats and prohibit the use of the purchased games.

It would be legal as you are only buying a licence for the game not the game itself.  In other words Nintendo can do what they want.

I'd like to say I'm a nice enough person to try and help u out, and not even ask for extra monies, but their are risks and My Wii is already gonna put me back in debt....plus i don't think any retailers will allow us to buy more than one system.

Thanks for the offer but gonna leave it for a few weeks and see what the situation is like.  Some UK sellers may get some in on eBay after launch.

Nintendo Gaming / Wii Import

Hey guys,

I am after importing a US Wii to the UK for the 480@60hz and quicker release dates.

Do you know of any decent online import shops? I already know of NCSX and eBay.

Cheers in advance.
