Nintendo Gaming / Re: Official Club Nintendo Thread
« on: May 10, 2011, 10:00:42 PM »
I wasn't sure were else to post this so here goes. In my copy of Link's Crossbow Training I got 2 inserts to register your game with Club Nintendo. I used one but obviously they wouldn't let me use the other since I already registered the game. I don't know which one I used so try both, it's free to anyone. One of these should work. I have no use for a spare code.

Strange about the DVD ability, considering Nintendo originally said it needed to manufacture a new version of the Wii, as the current one couldn't be updated to do so. Though they decided against this later, it sounds like Nintendo wanted us to buy a second Wii.

Considering Metroid 2 Wii was shown at an E3 presentation ages ago, they've waited a long time to do this. That being said, they don't need to do this. The games had better have new content other than controls, or this will be exactly like Capcom's RE0 version: a cheap way to make money off the hardcore without actually giving them anything. So, this is Nintendo's plan? Give its loyal audience the same games full price with almost nothing new. Oh wait, they've been doing this for years. But these games were released a generation ago.

I'm surprised they didn't call it Animal Crossing: City Training. Maybe that's next.  ;)

I know what you mean. We Mother/Earthbound fans have long suffered. NOA seems content with releasing a couple crap games a week with a good one or two every once in a while if we're really lucky. NOA must really find this funny.

Just when you think Nintendo's heavy censorship days are over.

This is good to hear. Hopefully they'll give it an accurate translation this time.

He's also the reason that most Nintendo series have the same stories continuously recycled.

At least we found about Earthbound before this.

I guess maybe Nintendo has quite decided to abandon core gamers. Yet. Hopefully, we'll get Pikmin 3. It would be perfect for the Wii. Or Star Fox but only if it's on rails.

I would love it to come to America too, but Nintendo of America not wanting to bring games over here that the fans want is nothing new(hint:Mother 3). Still, I'll play Starfi reguardless.

They probably couldn't make a profit at that price without selling a lot of copies, which they couldn't do because nobody really likes RE0 in the first place.
Hey, I liked RE0! But you're right, it's a waste bringing to Wii at all. It doesn't need to be a Wii game.

As much as I liked RE 0, I don't think I could justify buying it again unless it had added content and not just a new control scheme. REmake is what they should bring to the Wii, with one storyline instead of 2 conflicting ones. Or even RE 2, 3, or CV, as we were promised actual REmake style remakes and not just ports of back in the Gamecube era.
