Nintendo Gaming / Star Fox Armada: MIA
« on: May 01, 2003, 12:12:34 AM »
Wow, this is great! In my city, Lylat Wars (the PAL release of Starfox 64) was the most popular game for the N64 easily. I remember I knew all the little voice-transmissions off by heart, and would recite them every time I played the game..... I started going out on Fridays after that.

Nintendo Gaming / Another Zelda in development?
« on: April 22, 2003, 04:28:42 AM »
I think that in all new Zelda games, there will be several new things added to keep it fresh. In the past we’ve seen the dark world in A Link to the Past, music and horse and child/adult in Ocarina of Time, the clock and mask's in Majora's Mask and the sailing and graphics in Wind Waker. When you think about it, most of these themes are themes that are new to the genre or video games altogether. I think this will mean that the next Zelda will have something unpredictable in it. Judging by Nintendo's recent struggle to make every game something new (Luigi's Mansion, FLUDD in Sunshine, graphics in Zelda and revival of the Metroid series), I think that something radically different from a 'normal' Zelda will be seen.

Maybe Nintendo is reviving the series completly, like how they released Metroid Fusion on the GBA, then released Metroid Prime on the GC.

I fit into this group that has been targeted in this survey (15 year old male), and I wouldn't consider buying any other console than a Gamecube. None of my friends or peers I argue about video games with complain about the Cube's 'kiddy' games, and seem to care much more about gameplay than graphics.
