Nintendo Gaming / RE: Why is the console so small?
« on: February 22, 2006, 01:24:40 AM »
The size does have something to do with it but not in the way to think.  I'm thinking it's some specialized tech that allows costs to be down but manages to push graphics like competitors with the small size.

I love the fourth one.  I think that's a great idea, to just have a picture of the blue LED.  Then the rest of the box would be the same color as the Rev inside.

Ian...I think it has less to do with portability and more with Nintendo wanting to cut as many wires as possible.  Who knows, maybe the TV connection will be wireless as well.

I'm pretty sure this is the first confirmation of an Animal Crossing Rev, which is cool.

And no stevey, Mario 128 is an iteration of Super Mario...

^that's the original sorce. This is from an NOA phone line, not an official announcement, so take it with a grain of salt.

Still, though, excellent news if true.

This wouldn't be the first time a phone operator leaked news, an Australian one leaked news about the USB WiFi connector months before the official announcement.

I'm sorry Ian, you fail.

Americans are the dumb yuppies that are the reason for EA's existence.  They woulld all simultaneously die the second EA announced Madden was skipping a year.

I did a quick Google search and came up with nothing, sorry Kraven.  But it really showed nothing, nothing to be disappointed about.

But yeah, I just realized that IGN has a page up for this game.  Granted it says "rumored" on it, but seriously, since when does IGN post "rumored" games?  I'm calling legit on this.

Hmm...I just read the latest posts...interesting stuff...

I still see no confirmation that this blog is real but even if it's fake, it's highly convincing and there are some really uniqe gameplay ideas mentioned there that I would love to see implemented in a real game.

Stevey.  STFU.  There is no release date.  Stop with your obonoxious countdowns.  At this point, as everything is going downhill for Nintendo (well not really, I'm just pissed about the NPD sales for the DS), I'm banking that TP has actually been canned.
