Nice, succinct review--covered all bases without rambling.  I appreciate that you're holding off on a score until the online play comes in full force.  Since single-player sounds repetitive, online play will make or break the game for me.

Funny, I just played Snowboard Kids a couple days ago and intend to finish it yet again.  I'm not sure if I'd be into a more realistic snowboard game or not, though.

The badges aren't even all that great.  I was excited to get some Kirby badges to replace my Mii and System Settings icons, but they're quite blurry compared to the other icons.  I used to play this (free only) whenever I was waiting for a Splatoon match, but I've lost interest.  Quickly.


Oh, and the insane load time at the beginning doesn't help, either.

I had a nasty feeling this would be the case.  Nintendo hardly said anything about the game before it was released, and I guess that's because there wasn't much to say about it.  Maybe if this were a budget-priced title I'd go for it, but not at full retail.


Now, if they want to add a free update to New Leaf that makes your own interior design easier to play around with, then by all means...

These reviews have been real interesting.  It sounds like they didn't even put much effort into the game: did they have a feeling the Virtual Boy would die off quickly?

Confirmed today: The retro characters are only being sold as a 3-pack in the U.S. ... Why on Earth would you have no interest in ROB? He's awesome! Possibly the best of the three, I'd go so far as to say.

I never had a ROB growing up.  I've never seen one in real life.  So, I don't have a personal attachment to him like I do to Duck Hunt and Game and Watch.  But maybe I can sell him online to someone who will appreciate him.
