Nintendo Gaming / Will Wii and DS going offline affect 3rd party games?

Nintendo's site only mentions their first party games going offline in may but I'm assuming third party games like Goldeneye and Conduit use the same services to go online. I'm trying to find confirmation one way or the other. Anyone able to help me out? Thanks
