Nintendo Australia has announced that Mario Tennis Open will be launching in Australia and New Zealand for the Nintendo 3DS on May 24, 2012.

Mario Tennis Open includes some new modes and features on top of the regular tennis action. One of the new modes is called Super Mario Tennis, which puts a tennis drilling twist on the classic Super Mario Bros. 

Players can also customise their Mii characters with various outfits and gear, which can have an effect on the character's stats.
