...they've got a monopoly on the handheld market already, and soon will reclaim their console monopoly (OK, maybe not), but before that happens, they're getting their own board game Monopoly.

Hahaha, awesome.

The coverart could be better (look at the white outlines). But I can't refuse any product with a Nintendo logo that big.

Looks great.

But if there was an old-school-looking Nintendo Monopoly with concept art, places, and characters from Mario 3, Mario World, Link to the Past, Earthbound (<3), and the like (on the cover, at least)...  Well, that'd have me snapping one up immediately.

I may have to buy this.  Though I would prefer a more retro feel to it.  I mean they've got Star Fox Assault Fox McCloud on the cover.  Like I want to be reminded that that game exists.  Still it sounds pretty cool.

This is something I wish had been made like 10 years ago.

I have high hopes this isn't screwed up.

A few years ago, they made a Monopoly game based on Marvel Comics.  Now there is some cool potential for properties within the Marvel Universe.  The Baxter Building.  The Charles Xaiver School for the Gifted.

But the Monopoly game had you collecting "Rare Comics".  Bleh.

was it that hard to use locations instead of characters? I was hoping they were going to have some common sense and change it at last minute, but they decided to go for a cheap solution. Id probably would had forgiven them if at least the artwork was new, but its just cut&paste official images, it looks like something a fan with bad skills would do in a flash game, lame.
