From reading articles, did MS not announce more than one game for the actual launch?

Also, did Peter Moore basically say **** Nintendo and their Wii U?

Launch games known so far are
Forza 5
Kinect Sports Rivals
Ryse son of rome
Dead Rising 3
Lococycle
Minecraft

From reading articles, did MS not announce more than one game for the actual launch?

I believe so, Ryse: Son of Rome is the only one they specifically mentioned as a launch title.

Other games have general dates, like they only said Dead Rising 3 will be this "holiday". They never said it would be at launch.

I don't know who to believe!

Given I've been out and about today, I only managed to see MS's conference.  My take on it is that its basically all more of the same.  The few games that caught my eye were the creation game that is coming to Windows 8 and The Witcher 3 which will be on PC.  MGS did look nice but I'm sure that will be released on the PS4 also along with the current gen twins.  Overall though, I think the conference dragged which is suprising, given they covered strictly games from start to finish.  I think they went on for a good hour and a half.

And here I thought Nintendo was aiming too short with their 1 hr direct tomorrow.  After sitting through this presentation, I think Nintendo will hit the sweetspot in length as long as there isn't too much fluff.

As for Sony's conference tonight, I think they will do better.  I think theirs will be better paced given that they have to cover the system details along with further info on games.  Also, I think their conference will have a little more of a Japanese flair to it.  Looking back at MS's showing, you can really tell the company's western roots for the most part.  Almost all of the games shown for Xbone had a distinctive western feel.

Anyways, here's hoping for a better show tonight, and an even better one tomorrow :) lol.

So I'm really not expecting much from this conference at all.

Looks so plain and boring. What is up with this new trend of ugly and terrible hardware/software design? It's not "simplistic", it's ugly and visibly un-appealing. The Xbox 360 is ugly, the PlayStation 4 is ugly, iOS 7 is ugly.

Giant Enemy Crab joke!

The indies are the most interesting thing so far. And live on-stage demos, what a novel concept!

As far as I am concerned, Microsoft has been flat out roflstomped.

I loved the uppercut to Microsoft about self publishing indies.

The Xbone is ugly as hell, but the PS4 is so ugly it's kind of sublime.

I like iOS7. Xbox One is very plain though I don't mind it. PS4 looks like a Tyco piece. I'm not really digging the slanted design. I don't understand the two-tone, matte/glossy design of either Xbox One or PS4.

I think the design of iOS 6 looks very elegant and great, iOS 7 looks like something a 13 year old came up with. It's not all bad, but I think the new designs for app icons are ugly.
