The thing that made me sad a little was when rainbow confirmed that there will be no online mode for this, maybe when the sequel hits.

Very few of the creatures mentioned in the press release about this game are actually deadly to humans (being deadly to other pitiful little things doesn't count). I call shenanigans.

But you're not playing a human, so I'd say it's appropriate. Also, humans are enemies in it. It's all just commentary on the tyranny of man over the simple, peaceful _murderous insects.

The tarantula actually looks better to me. The animations are really smooth and believable, and the wall crawling is done so well I expect other games to rip it off.

The way the world/camera scrolls by as you move forward looks great.

Good to play up the creepy feel of the natural world.

Gamespot have a hands on of the game from e3 up. The more I hear about the game the more I can't wait to play it! My girlfriend hates spiders so its gonna creep her out to no end by the sound of it.

I hope it gets released over here in Europe this year.
