I am curious how PS4 is doing compared to Wii U. Does anyone know where Wii U was in Japan at this same point in it's life? I kind of get the impression PS4 is doing better world wide but I keep hearing it's doing lousy in Japan even compared to Wii U, is that true?

PS4 came out about a year after the Wii U. If we look at the last year to date for Wii U and the year to date this year for PS4, you can compare where they are at. So PS4 this year is currently at 382,680 and Wii U last year at this time was at 126,035. I'd say the Wii U was doing a lot worse than the PS4 is now. PS4 got a slow start and is starting to pick up steam. Wii U actually had a decent start in Japan and then fell apart. The only thing that kept it afloat really has been Splatoon and you could maybe say Mario Maker.

Romance of the Yo-kai and Dragon Quest Monsters are at the top ahead of the new releases of Far Cry: Primal and Disney Art Academy. Star Ocean 5 suffers a 91% drop, which is sad to see.
