According to Nintendo the 3DS "family of systems" moved past the 60 million units sold mark. Going by the number they gave us at the end of the fiscal year (58.85 million), that would be put them at over one million units sold for April and May. That seems pretty decent as far as this time of the year goes.

As of March 2016 (before it released in Europe) there were a total of 1.84 million copies sold across digital and physical. I'd like to think they've sold at least 160 thousand copies across the whole of Europe and Australia, but you'd think they'd have announced it by now if it had. It's possible they're saving up good news for the shareholders meeting that takes place on the 29th June.

I'd like to imagine Umbrella Corps is similar to Lost Reavers in that it's a project that was used to wet the feet of the next generation of Capcom programmers, artists and network people. If so I hold no ill will against it.

Yo-kai Watch 3 tops the charts, twitter users have noted that it is half of Yo-kai Watch 2's debut. It's followed by the 3rd Trails in the Sky game.

When I saw the numbers earlier that did seem somewhat light for Yo-Kai Watch 3 (which is crazy to say about a game that sold over 600,000 units in a number of days), but I didn't realize it was that big a drop off from Yo-Kai Watch 2. Looking at the old numbers and dates I'm guessing at least some of it is explained by the fact that Yo-Kai Watch 2's first "week" included four days of sales since it was released on a Thursday, while Yo-Kai Watch 3's first week includes just two days of sales with it releasing on a Saturday. Even accounting for that it seems like a legitimate drop though.
