Been on & off for a while now. Playing with my settings & testing them. The whole dizziness thing doesn't seem as bad on wi-fi.

I won't be on tonight, but I'll be on over the weekend (possibly tomorrow night) for sure.

I gotta power through the single-player campaign.

Alrighty! We have to play L4D this weekend even if just for an hour!

I am off to single player too! Or maybe rank up in random matches.

That's right, you're reviewing it, yes? That means we get to help you review it because we played the multiplayer with you.

Let us know when you are online so we can continue to help you in your 'review' process ;)

Also, if you are having WiiSpeak issues, Lindy, try playing the game on headphones. I found that a lot of the extra noise is canceled that way. It made it feel a little like podcasting actually. And if I felt I wasn't getting picked up properly by the mic I brought it close to me and at one point even stung the mic from my headphones so it was right on my face. Pretty crazy.

I would venture to guess that moving the mic away from the TV in general would fix the issues as opposed to headphones.

Those Drudge charging guns are the worst culprits because they just cause static to flood the mics. And that is almost all that people use on that setup.

Lindys mic was by far the worst of them. It sounded like you had a party going on!

I think that was Maxi's. Or maybe both of theirs. I know Mrs Lindy was with Lindy. I also heard someone on Maxi's end shout out about his birthday.

Well my strength in multiplayer doesn't correlate to single player! I am doing awful!

I thought it was the echo of Lindy through Maxi, either way it was a mess....

I can hear you Stratos in a public game.... Sighing....

Yeah, I remember Statros coming in pretty clear when we played. I was already using wireless headphones but I may try moving the mic next time. Not sure how well I sounded though.

I had my mic sensitivity turned up to 6 at one point, turned it down to 4 when I saw constant noise being generated.

Having the sensitivity that high would do it.

And it is that charging Trust gun that makes the static, not the Drudge gun.

LOL, I didn't even know it was on at first. It only works between friends in public games. So you joined and the mic turned on.

Everytime you would kill me I could here you cheer with a quiet "yes!"and everytime I killed you a sigh..... I owned in a couple matches but then got worse as I got more tired.

My KD Ratio is 1.39 right now. I have never been this good at FPS's before!

Yeah, everyone was sleeping in my house so I was trying to be quiet. You are a good challenge. I so wanted to chatter but I have a fairly deep and loud voice and if i remove the bass in it the mic tends to not be able to pick it up.

It's funny, you can watch people's skills decline across multiple matches. There was this one guy, Jim -I called him Jim the Alien since he played as one of the bugs- he was unstoppable early on. I think you joined part way through his reign as well. But in some of his later matches he was obviously losing his edge because I started killing him constantly. He then quit.

I think people's wrists get tired from aiming the Wiimote and using it for melee attacks and that impacts their performance over a long stretch of matches. I know mine was hurting last night. Course I also played several hours of BWii that day as well so I guess my wrist was boud to start getting tired.

I totally agree.  I remember Rize getting eviscerated for stating this as one of the things he didn't like about Wii's controller setup, and I have to agree with him.  I finished off the single-player campaign this morning, which required me to sit there and play for four hours straight.  By the end my right wrist was killing me.  Most genres don't require you to hold the Wii and Nunchuk suspended in the air for prolonged periods of time, but first-person shooters are the exception.  I couldn't rest my wrists on anything either, because responding quickly meant that I had to have my forearms free to move them around.

I still prefer dual-analog controal to both mouse and Wii motion controls.  It's not as responsive/accurate, but it's much more comfortable over the long haul.

My Nunchuck wrist I tend to rest on my leg until I need a grenade. The only option for my Wiimote wrist is to take breaks from time to time.

I rest the wiimote/nunchuck on my legs. I mapped punch to Nunchuck and grenade to +. The only motion to the wiimote is the ASE.

Like so....

Actually, now that you mention it, I think i do that instinctively as well. I find it is easier to rest it when your sensor bar is above the TV. If it is below the TV you tend to cut off the IR signal with your knees and legs.

Is anybody else having problems with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection tonight?  My connection is borked.  The game either freezes up during player adding (after which I get dropped into a game frozen), or I can't connect at all.

Everything was working fine last night, so I doubt it's a problem on my end.
