Hmm I can't seem to find the kitten.
Maxi is dead. I killed him and took his posts and changed genders.

Odd, can't find the Momma Cat either. Don't think its the end of it though, I think you have a week to re-unite the family.

I'll keep tabs on it. Anyone else who's been in contact with Maxi or myself recently, and have seen either a Momma Cat, or Kitten, let us know.

I'll look in my town. Is there anyplace obvious they could be?

I'll check really fast before I play some BWii. If I do find it I'll report back and open my gate really fast to do the exchange.

Ask the left gate guard and select "What's new?", he'll tell you if one of them is in your town.

I'm a little confused as to how turnips work. Do you just buy a few and then keep regrowing more from those few or do you only get one harvest out of them? I need to buy some this Sunday.

If nobody gives you a direct answer then there's always GameFAQs. Might want to read through this if you have time:

I was going to lead the question into seeing if someone wanted to hook me up with some if they continually regrow.

I never buy them so I don't know how they work. But if I see my store sometime buying them for a high price then I'll let you know.

So is this game worth it for $5? The bundle with Wii Speak is $5 more than just Wii Speak.

I have never played Animal Crossing.

It's pretty fun. I've played away more hours that I would have thought. You can get pretty wrapped up in the experience.

I would say go for it. The main complaint I've heard about this game is how similar it is to the previous games, but if you've never played any of them then that won't matter to you. I've never played the previous ones either so I can't say if that complaint is justified or not.

I will say, this game is not for everyone. It flows pretty slowly, so if you're craving action then this is definitely NOT for you. If all you like to do is compete in games then you won't find that here.

Yeah, there are things to collect and catch and you have the goal of buying upgrades to your house and paying them off. Think of it like Harvest Moon without the dating sim aspect and not as much focus on farming. That's what the games strikes me as. So if you hate Harvest Moon this may not suit you. Though interacting with other people and playing "hide Mop it up's fossils" is pretty fun  :D

Speaking of, you really have to play this game every day or else things go awry. I haven't played in a couple days and now one of my precious pink carnations is gone!

See, while everyone else got caught up in Conduit, I still faithfully played the game every day before going online in BWii or Conduit.

Next harvest I may need some extra help gathering all of my fruit. Care to come over and help, Mop it up? I'll give you a fossil or a 1-Up Mushroom for your trouble. I actually have 4 spare fossils you can choose from. I save my duplicates instead of selling them.

I have been playing this too recently. I should have my bridge tomorrow. I hope I get it where I want.

Picking fruit is what I do best! You just have to get into a rhythm. And when you have someone over Tom Nook doesn't give you a message of welcome/goodbye when you enter/exit the store, which makes it less annoying.

I have a lot of fossils so the odds of those being anything I don't have are pretty low. If you want to help me out then you should visit my town sometime and pick up some of the junk laying around.

What kind of junk? I had a couple of cans and boots laying around from when I was fishing and my bag was full. But I picked all those up and left them in recycling the other day because I was feeling guilty.

Oh, when do you guys want to come over, then? The store is closed today because I'm getting the next remodel apparently, but by Sunday or Monday most of the trees may be ready for harvest.
