I know my martial arts master has a general test for the colored belts once a month. But black belt tests are planned out in advance and depending on the requirements may need a lot of planning and organization. I know in my art you have like three skills tests (which are a little more flexible) and then a final demo (that is not as flexible because it is more of a performance which you invite guests to).

Injuries are more of a frustration because of how long it may take to get another test. A fellow student had to wait several months to get another shot at one of the black belt tests.

Also, my master had to wait close to a year for his second Dan test because of an eye injury that ruined his annual window to fly to his test with the Grand Master.

It looks like BWii night dies for the night and I just got back home. So I'll probably be online tonight.

The Gamespot review is sad. I think the reviewer does not know how to enjoy games anymore. It is a dull job for him.

Maybe Jonny will save them for a genre specific poll that is for shooters?

I was going to lead the question into seeing if someone wanted to hook me up with some if they continually regrow.

I seem to recall the more recent Leisure Suit Larry games were either online only or had an unrated version online you could buy.

500k actually sounds better. I think that was close to the pre-order number. Yeah, trying to recall and throw around decade old stats is a bit tough. But still fun! :)

Haven't there been a few games that went the online only PC route?

It does? I don't recall anything earth shattering in it. Then again, the plot is pretty standard fare.

13160
I don't doubt you. I just find it hard to grasp that so many people might have pre-ordered it but did not get the special version. It makes me feel luck because I recieved both as Christmas gifts from my parents and they even went the distance of pre-ordering them and getting them early to make sure I got the special ones.

I should just spend the night adding everyones friend code for both games

Just make sure you keep them separated. I've had to go back and rewrite them down here twice because I didn't mark what game they were for properly. I had Conduit, Animal Crossing and BWii codes I was copying down plus a Wii system code. It was crazy.

13162
I should go into the main thread and vote for mself. That would sure cause a ruckus.

I read it in Nintendo Power. I can't find anything about it online though...

It might just seem like there are lots because of how many people you find selling it because they think it is worth something.

Well, it's mere because I remember a whole lot more than 50,000 pre-ordering it and don't recall ever hearing that anyone who pre-ordered did not get one. Maybe it was store specific like Conduit Special Edition was Gamestop specific? Though that would have to mean Toys R Us had the exclusive because that is where I got both Ocarina and Majora.

Doing some quick searches I don't see any red flags pop out right away. No 'buyer beware' notes or articles warning about it being dangerous. I did come across this list of warnings about how not to use it so be sure to have a look at it before using it. Also, of course, checking with a doctor first is a must I believe.

Safety Data

Never use ultrasound unit for treatment without using the conductive gel.
Never clean the unit with water or submerge it under water.

Over organs (stomach, liver, lungs, spleen, bowels, heart, kidneys)
Over the pelvis, abdomen and lumbar (lower back) region in pregnant or potentially pregnant females.
Over highly ultrasound-sensitive organs (eyes, ears, ovaries, testicles, brain, spinal cord)
Over mucous membranes (mouth, nose, rectum/anus, vagina)

I'm a little confused as to how turnips work. Do you just buy a few and then keep regrowing more from those few or do you only get one harvest out of them? I need to buy some this Sunday.

Earl Grey tea is wonderful.

You just went up 100 points of awesome in my book for saying that :)

I actually found a neat Earl Grey that also has raspberry in it. Tastes amazing.

Whowill be online tonight??

It's the middle of BWii Days so I probably won't be on until really late if at all. BWii comes first until the 28th.

I thought the BBFC were a pain in the butt regarding ratings? Didn't they flat out refuse to rate certain games because they didn't fit into their views of games being for children? I recall some issue with a fairly popular game in the UK that wasn't terribly bad (not Manhunt 2) being classified because of their narrow and stiff view of games. I believe it was Fallout 3. Having PEGI rate games now sounds like a step up for UK gamers.

Just out of curiosity, how many games have you played Maxi?

You don't like the name Earl Grey? I don't know why, but I feel it is an appropriate name.
It's appropriate for an old man. But a tea? You can't name a tea after a guy.

It's the guy who created it I believe. The Earl of Greying or something like that.

I like green tea as well, Maxi. I actually still have some loose leaf green tea with dried pieces of strawberry in it. My roommate and I would go downtown to this tea bar in Portland and they sold looseleaf tea in bulk. They have one that is supposed to help relieve allergies. I never got to try it before I moved back to Washington. I need to grab some when I go back for a visit.

Yeah but that's bad for you too. You always hear about what's bad but it seems like there's not much discussion on what is good for you. And the stuff that is advertised as being "healthy" is often ridiculously expensive. I don't even know what's going on with the whole "organic" buzzword because I've always thought all food is organic...

Organic means that no chemicals or pesticides were used in the ground or on the plants when they were growing. The idea is that those chemicals get on and in the food and thusly you consume the chemicals which can be damaging to your body. That is the gist of the organic movement. There is an 'organic organization' in California that will certify things as organic which concerned people can turn to.

My Mom is getting into the organic thing.

Earl Grey is probably my favorite tea.

But there are so many wonderful foods to enjoy! Like pizza ;D
