Looks like we got DCd. :/

Adolph Vega is hopefully joining us. If you don't have a new room open by the time I get back to my Wii I'll open a room for us.

I think the real test will be how much of a slow burner it is on the DS. If it breaks a million on the DS, then no it probably won't be much of an issue. Remember half of the PSP GTAs are ports of PS2 games. This just means the PSP is the 'port to later' system.

Alright. I'm logging on now.

Dear Lord, BNM caught wind of your joke. This is going to be all over the funhouse before the day ends with him knowing now. I predict a new thread will be born out of this.

Hey, I gave you flowers. Can't top that. I even gave you pink ones since those are the ones you said died.

I'll be on shortly. I think we should get a friend room going.

Who else is willing and planning to join up?

I just need to get some more kicks here before I log on.

Perhaps fast money would be a better way of putting it?

They don't know how to wait for a slowburn of sales that are common on DS and Wii releases. A GTA on the PSP will sell close to a million in the first month.

Pap: This I agree with. Considering that getting into writing is one of my future goals, examining Roasline's story was pretty fun to do. Why would I do that?

Simple, Yoshiaki Koizumi wrote this story as a fun little side-story. It wasn't jamed into our throats like other stories which shall not be named (*coughmgs4cough*) but it contained a sense of emotions that would be in any childrens book abou adventures, space, friendship and the loss of loved ones. If anything, the Rosalina book would've worked as a real life children's book.

While people may whine about the storybook element in SMG (y halo thr IGN), it was touching. Considering Koizumi's work in the Zelda series, he can make a story work.

I agree about it working as a childrens book in real life. It makes me think of some of the classics I read or had read to me as a child. Many of those were timeless.

I was browsing thru the forums late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For a monster nipplebegan to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

He did the bump
He did the monster bump
The monster bump
Bob must be in a slump
He did the bump
He checked his nipple for lumps
He did the bump
He did the monster bump

My hat's off to you.

I'll try to have something better for next month.

And the prophecy goes unfulfilled.

Good things come to those who wait..

Apparently not. Let's never wait again.

I didn't realize how much of this localization process was a big political game. Crazy. Makes me appreciate even more that games like RGC and Fragile are coming/have come here.

Wow. But there are still a few days left in the poll. I'm sure it will break.

Then we can lay the smack down on each other! :)

I like chantting, calling and heckling people in Bounty Hunter mode when they are the target.  ;D

I can see how that would be frustrating.

The games that made me the most mad were Mario Tennis and Perfect Dark on the N64. I really hated the AI on those games. I remember one night I got wrapped up in a challenge map on PD and the CPU were always one step ahead of me but I was always oh so close to winning. I was screaming at the top of my lungs and eventually my parents came downstairs because it was the middle of the night and they thought it was a drunk guy outside or the neighbors ex-husband coming and harassing her again. I was embarrassed at how crazy I got that night. Ah, being young and angry.

Sometimes I grumble to myself when I'm playing Conduit with annonymous people but once it turned on because a friend joined and I didn't notice. I don't think it picked up my grumbling though. There were a couple very frustrating matches in Conduit where the game did a really poor job creating teams. Also when it gets really laggy I get frustrated as well because I would swear I made multiple killer headshots but then they kill me when the lag didn't show they had moved and I die.

Hey, Kraken, did you think it was funny I was quoting from Pirates where they argue over how to pronounce Kraken? Crocken, Krayken ;)

Oh, name dropping and Conduit! I wonder if he lays the smack on Kraken and I. It needs to hurry and finish D/Ling so I can listen to it.

The Rosalina side story was amazing. I loved it. The mystery and intrigue of her background were part of what made it so interesting to me. It is almost a sorrowful ballad of a lone soul, wandering the stars. I think the music in the game really lends to this because it has a melancholy tone in the main hub.

I remember reading the old Mario comic and there was a point where Wario debuted in it near the end of the series. He was referred to as Mario's cousin. He was portrayed as being like 4 times the size and girth of Mario in the comic or something equally ridiculous.

If so then I think it is hilarious that a golf game makes you curse up a storm.

No, it means that Rockstar likes money and easy money at that. The game is already done, just remove or adapt the touch minigames and port it.

It'll sell a good deal on that platform I'm sure.

Alright, I hope it turns out OK for you.
