The Bernie Mac show is a great sitcom, and ended very pre-maturely. Still had a few years left in it.

What's David the Gnome? Cuz i feel like i might know it...

I wouldn't bother trying to watch it now, but it & Maya the Bee were very popular on Nick Jr. back in the day

Speaking of Fresh Prince though, i played the song "Apache" by the Sugar Hill Gang at my house party (for my birthday a few weeks back) and EVERYONE did that Will/Carlton dance.. it was so fucking epic.

I'm not sure whether to be glad no one caught it on film or not though.. It woulda been sweet to have it on video as a reminder of a good time, but then again, i woulda ended up on youtube.. ugh!

One of TVs most mimic'd moments
**** YEAH! Thats exactly what i thought you were talking about (David the Gnome). I used to watch it all the time as a kid. I still remember the last episode i saw was when his poor friend the Fox got his leg caught in a bear trap.. that poor fox!

I remember that episode too! Crazy.

Oddly I never watched Fresh Prince very much. I didn't watch a whole lot of sit-coms very much actually. I think I had this opinion that cartoons were a superior form of entertainment and everything else was filler.

At least this SE has a better cover.

OK, will do.

I know what you mean about dead laptops. Mine died a bit ago and I finally saved enough money to buy a new computer (I was going to upgrade soon anyway). It should be here in a week or two.

12505
If not we can buy him a new one since it should be in our catalogs.

Speaking of Gummi Bears... Anybody remember David the Gnome, Maya the Bee & Monchichis?

Those are some old school long forgotten cartoons of my childhood.

I LOVED those shows! I knew a girl named Maya in college and I'd sing the song whenever I saw her. She loved it.

Well, GoldenPhoenix, I have good news and bad news for you:

Good News - I've made up my mind, and I'm going to pick up the Conduit tommorow.  My local GameStop just can't seem to get rid of their last copy of the Special Edition, so now seems as good a time as any.

Bad News - To bring the price down to about what I can afford (and in some cases consider the game is worth), I'm going to be sacrificing my copies of Infamous and (through return) Overlord: Raising Hell.  Sorry, GP, but I'm just not enjoying Overlord like I thought I would after playing the demo.  It's become something of a monotonous dungeon grind, and I get enough of that in the RPGs I'm already playing (Persona 4, anyone?  ^_- ).  And with all the Sweeping Action every 2 seconds to make sure my minions go where they're needed, I'm feeling more like an evil air traffic controller than an evil overlord.  Also, my Wii's still out on loan, so I won't have that back till the weekend.  I'm sure there's more than a few people who have just been itching to shoot me, so after a bit of time with the Single-Player I'll throw out my Friend Code and I'll give online a shot.

Yay! I'm glad you decided to try it. Looking forward to seeing you online soon. We've got a pretty good NWR turnout online and I always see a few of us online every day.

Yay us!
...wait, what are we doing that is so great?

12510
No, I'm pretty sure I left it in front of the store for whoever wanted to hold it next.

12511
Statos I will be on in a few....

I thought you were going to bed?

12512
What I want to know is if you guys found the King Tut hat. Stratos buried it somewhere in Mop_it_up's town.

I returned it. I think. Did I? I don't remember...

I still like watching DuckTales... god I suck

I loved Ducktales. Also Gummie Bears and Wuzzles before it.

I watched Full House. Wasn't the best, but that was what I watched.

Mop it up fell asleep in the shot directly above and below. We just took pictures around her. And dug holes...lots of holes.

I got a lot today. Some are just priceless...

12517
I seem to have misplaced my SD card.

But I'm sure either Stratos or Djunknown will be in here with a bucket of lies pretty soon.

I'm uploading them now... ;D

Are you planting them right next to other trees or objects?

I don't think so. No closer than any other trees are. I'm pretty sure I'm planting them about 3 squares appart at least. Though who knows, I never tried to watch out for it.

12519
yeah, me wife is pissed at me.. so it may be a long night on the couch... doh

i just tried to join some game, and i was stuck in the clouds..

(I have you in my codes stratos!)

I'm writing down codes now. I'll be on after posting a bit if you are still up.

I'm sorry you and your wife are not getting along right now. I hope you two are able to work things out.

I'm always growing more. I forgot I had already picked all of the foreign trees.

Oddly enough a number of the last crop I planted are gone now. I had planted a swath of trees by the museume and the orange tree is the only one left. Who's making them go away? :/

If you are going to bring fruit, may I request coconuts? I only have two trees and since my last two died off/dissapeared as well I'd like to build up their numbers to prevent it from happening again.

Frame rate sucks in Conduit especially in Multiplayer.

The game feels chintzy.

On the other hand there hasn't been an fps on the Wii since Medal of Honor if I remember right so Wii owners who want an fps on the system are starving.  And when you're starving folks will eat anything.

You forgot about CoD:WaW.

So I was right about them all being sisters. Interesting.

I was mister moneybags tonight. I caught about 8 rainbow stags, a gar and a whole lot of other valuable bugs and fish. I have about enough bells to buy the next house upgrade. Is the basement the last one? I have the second floor right now.

12523
I won't be on until a bit later. But I'll be sure to enter your code and hopefully we'll see each other there.
