Timestamp off one hour?
« on: March 26, 2007, 10:55:52 AM »
I'm noticing that the timestamp for posts for me are showing up an hour behind.  It looks like daylight savings time hasn't been taken into account.  I'm in the Pacific time zone.  This post is being entered around 4 but it'll say 3.

I'm a programmer who works in ColdFusion and recently we had to install a patch to correct for daylight savings.  Whoever decides this stuff moved the day to switch over up a couple weeks and a fix was needed for ColdFusion to recognize the change.  So maybe you guys didn't make the fix?

Does anyone else notice the time being off?

You could just set your time zone as Mountain Time.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I could but I figure NWR would like to know if they have a bug or not.

Unfortunately, no one from the staff checks the NWR Discussion board.  Maybe the board will automatically fix itself when the "normal" daylight savings time would have occurred.

I check it, but sadly I am not the one who has any control over these things.  ><

This is fixed now, right?  If not, I'm confused b/c I did change the clock on teh site a while ago....
[EDIT: Yes, it is.  At least looks like it to me.  But perhaps this is not fixed for those outside of the Pacific Time Zone?]

Let me know if you still have this problem, guys.  I know of one more possibility that could be causing this, but fixing it would be a pain and I don't want to go down that path unless I must!

This is a test post to see if my timestamp is correct.

Edit:  It is!

Yeah, this weekend was when Daylight Savings was previously supposed to change, so the problem is "fixed".
