Hey, welcome back! You're at Day 4... is this a record? But that sucks about RAB... at least he got to use his power before he died.

Thatguy basically dug his own grave with his suspicious playstyle this game... why'd he have to act so weird? Apparently he was even threatening Maxi to kill him if he didn't find the mafia godfather... I dont know how you're supposed to do that by PMing people and asking if they know who the godfather is, but.. well, I guess it was worth a shot, Maxi.

I don't know who would be best to vote for today... must consult my notes... we need to stop voting out townies though... I still feel comfortable with the status of the game, mostly for having a townie alliance in place, but things could get tense quick if this keeps happening. Let's make sure our vote counts tonight.

Random thought: we maybe could've done with keeping the killer around a little longer... he could've helped whittle the mafia numbers down for us. But it's a little late for that, I suppose, we'll just have to rely on the vote.

I don't know about Maxi, guys... in his PM to me yesterday he came off as more "confused" than "mafia."

It's just a hunch, but I'm wondering about some of the people we haven't heard hardly anything from so far this game. It's an old trick to try and fly low under the radar if you're mafia.

Insanolord, you're so active in many other threads here, yet you're hardly talking at all in the mafia threads. Let's chat.

I'm starting to think it's too much of a coincidence that Maxi is acting this confused on his first game ever. If he was mafia, he'd have been coached by his fellow mafia people to be less crazy.

Also, so no one is supsicious, I travel to Philly for a wedding all day tomorrow. No guarantees I'll get internet access to vote and/or show up in the thread.

When I woke up this morning, I thought the sky seemed a lot closer than usual. I looked around where I was for Froggy, but he was still no where to be found. Later, I realized that I was on an island floating in the sky. I looked over the edge and realized, not even Froggy can jump this high.

I agree with Pale, Maxi is acting to much like himself, which is bad for mafia, to be mafia.

So, what's up? How've you been?

I haven't been very well. The main reason I haven't been very active in this game is that my router died and until last night the only way I could post was via my phone, which is a pain to type on. Even if I'd had internet access I don't know how active I would have been; I've somehow managed to be pretty successful in Mafia when I've had a role, but I really don't have any idea how to approach the game when I'm just a townie. The problem with that, as has been pointed out, is that it looks an awful lot like a common Mafia strategy to an objective observer.

EDIT: And since I have to vote for someone today to avoid being eliminated for inactivity, I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon and VOTE DAAAMAN.

I just wanted to confirm too that the game isn't being played over the weekend right? I won't be back in town until Sunday, but looking at my schedule, I should be able to jump on tomorrow morning before I leave and see what transpired and possibly vote if I have a good reason to.
