That last disconnect was bad timing.
What was it you tried to take Maxi? I could save it for you or try to mail it too you.

That was an interesting night for sure... but a bit long. Seven hours! Next time let's make it shorter...

Mop_it_up can you open your gates again real quick. I think two things that I wanted are still in your town.

There was 2 wallpapers that I wanted.

Mine's peaches.  You can come steal some next time I turn the game on, or something.  They might be tasty if Nook weren't such a price-Nazi.

Mine were peaches. But there's only a few of those left. Now the fruit I have most of is apples, followed by oranges. But I just picked it all the other day so there wasn't any today.

I have a AC question.

Does the Wii version read the GC saves?
& does the DS version connect to the Wii version?

no it doesn't read the GC save? or it does, but it doesn't benefit you?

were you answering both questions or just the bolded one?
sorry for being slightly confused.

Yes it does connect to Wild World, but i'm not sure what kind of connection you're expecting. It's not like the GC game with the GBA adaptor, there is no island, but you can import your DS character into City Folk. However, i'm not sure if this means all of your status is transfered over (ie if you paid off your house, do you start off with a mansion??) or just the character him/herself and whatever is in their pockets.

You can also use the DS game to transfer your City Folk Character to another City Folk game in order to visit their town. When you speak to Rover or whatever his name is (the guy in charge of the town gate) he'll ask you how you want to visit another town, and this option is called the "DS Suitcase"

That was an interesting night for sure... but a bit long. Seven hours! Next time let's make it shorter...

I had a blast. I also loved how we had the 'text' conversation and the voice chat going at the same time.

Playing Hide Mop it up's Fossil was pretty silly as well.  ;D

Though I do feel bad for how many times I accidentally wrecked you roads and stuff. I don't feel bad about heckling you to get WiiSpeak though :D

Does anything special happen if we all go to the city together? We should do that next time.

I need to go boot the game as I want to see my new expanded house.

We also have photographic proof of Mop it up and I's bedhead hair. There's a thread in the funhouse for AC pictures. Someone go upload yours. I got a couple different shots that night, though I think I overwrote half of them because I forget to save them. I got all Pokemon Snap crazy on the camera button and assume they are saved. :/

I need to find my SD to USB drive so I can upload them.

You can't visit the city when your gate is open. If you try then it says something about how the next bus won't be coming for a while. You can wait for it but it will never come.

I also loved how we had the 'text' conversation and the voice chat going at the same time.
What I like is hearing the mysterious background noises of people with Wii Speak and trying to guess what they are. I have no idea what was happening at your place but I heard a few weird noises throughout the night, one of which sounded like a chair breaking. And that little encounter with the spider was also entertaining.

Playing Hide Mop it up's Fossil was pretty silly as well.  ;D

I'd like evidence of those "treets" before making my decision.  For some reason, I doubt their existence.

I'm pretty sure I heard a food processor over a Wii Speak microthingy.

My chair is noisy. The rest were Maxi's noises. I think he turned his volume up loud or something. Or maybe I just can't hear my own sounds.

It sounded like you had other people there.

My Mom almost came upstairs calling "Natey!" LOL, I felt like one of those 35-year-old 'loser nerds' who live in their parents basement. But I told her I was on voice chat. She hates to be overheard like that.

Though I thought it was hilarious how Djunknown would shout "No body move! I see a bug!". I loved it.

Really? There were only two people w/ WiiSpeak on at a time.

First Maxi, then Djunknown showed up a little after Maxi left.

Maxi doesn't talk much. I'm the loud, boistrous and obnoxious one. Which shows I'm pretty comfortable around you all. I don't get this way unless I feel I know you well enough or we click right off the bat.
