Missed the bug tourney this weekend due to Real LifeTM so I have a bunch of rare bugs stashed away... I'm considering a giveaway (their bell's worth at least) in some of mini-game format, so let me know if you're interested in some free money!

Actually had a good week with turnips, the highest for 161, I made a nice tidy profit.

After donating the 1 million bells, I decided to go with the windmill, since I had a lighthouse in the 'Cube version of AC by default. Plus its good for the enivronment or something...

The endless porcupine saga continues The younger able sister laments not being old enough to remember the beef. The older one has made her peace with Labelle, realizing that Labelle didn't head to the city for selfish reasons. But will Labelle make peace with her?

Then we have this last time, a bounty match where I spawned right from the outset of the game into a wall.

This happens to me once in a while. Chalk it up to a bug. I just reset and try again.

Quote
I've seen a lot of matches where other players apparently have no idea what type of match they're in or are simply ignoring the rules.

This happens to me in ASE football. I guess some people just want to grief instead of you know, try to win the game.

Quote
Worst I had it was a 2 on 6 when the other team's lead was widening.

*@#$ those droppers. Even if you lose, you can still get kills to get your EXP up. Sometimes people just have to take the loss like a MAN.

Mongoose and I were in a 2 player capture match that well, lets just say it was more about playing with a friend than anything else.

I wish there was a way to advertise a la Xbox Live or Mario Kart to other people saying, XXXX is on right now. CTF 1-1 is a surreal experience, but not something I'd repeat any time soon...  ;)

I'll come back to the single player campaign to get all the messages and Trust disks. Its not that bad, it....just is. HVS sold the concept, hopefully the inevitable sequel, as well as future projects will build upon it.

Quote
I hope Nintendo and HVS get rid of all the hackers.

Its a shame they can't (legally) patch this, just to keep the 1337ers on their toes at the least. Can HVS/Sega/Nintendo do server-side upgrades?

Lag is hacking the game!

I had one guy who I was shooting with the shotty, then he went through the wall and disappeared! Didn't pursue, but he didn't get dropped either...

I think you mean my clover. Unless you took GP's as well....

I've been trying to track the scorpion the last couple of nights, but to no avail. Is there an ideal time they come out?

Also caught a fly today unexpectedly. There was a boot I left lying around, and a fly was swirling it. Might be old news to some, but I'm astounded to this concession to reality...

Interesting research links. Now I know...

My creds: traveling around three continents and drinking every soda I could find. I once won a contest where I named a bunch of different brands of cola by taste alone. And I know some weird facts about sodas in general.

Forget wine tasting, soda tasting is the next wave! You should charge an exorbitant amount to restaurants so you can taste their soda for quality, freshness and purity.  8)

Quote
Prices stay high, so soda's and such started coming with HFCS because it is cheaper to put in the soda.

Quote
corn farming subsidies.

So Big Corn and the U.S gov't are in cohoots to put HFCS in as much food as possible, keeping us docile, while they prepare for the Drudge to take over! It all makes sense! [/The Conduit]

I finally have the bells to go for either a Light house or Windmill. I gather you can't have both?

I'm also on the hunt for the scorpion. Any strategies from those who've caught one and lived to tell about it?

Seriously, bread has HFCS.

I'll check the next time I buy bread. I usually buy whole wheat bread, so I should be safe right?

...

Right?

Is it a government conspiracy to put HFCS in as much food as possible?

Quote
I want juice that is just juice.

There's a Whole Foods near my area. I'll check their juices, maybe do like a taste test or something with something comparable.

benzene and formaldehyde(embalming fluid)

That is disturbing. Any research/links to verify?

I got some turnips on the cheap this week, so now I'm on turnip watch. If anyone has good prices on turnips, let me know. Of course you'll get a 'finder's fee'...

So I buy a jug of Arizona Ice Tea, the green tea kind, which says it has honey and ginseng. I look at the ingredients, and what does it have?

High Fructose Corn Syrup! So they use Honey, and HFCS? That can't be good, but it has ginseng. Ginseng! That does...good stuff to you right?

That's the point. Its similar to GTA in that it takes talk radio, and makes a parody of it.

Played some multiplayer last night, only to be a victim of team killing! Seriously, that is sooo 1996. It looks like Halo-like douchebaggery has migrated to The Conduit in no time...

Stratos, did you have your Wii Speak on? I was in that same game with you, and  I got responses from ADV2k1, but that was it.

When I started a private game, Maxi joined, but he never replied when I talked to him. Hmmm....

Hey, Dj, I have your clover. I thought it was a weed and I pulled it since I'm nice and do that sort of thing.

When my gate is open next time, hop on by and drop it off.

Quote
Djunknown I have the mother cat in my town. Let me know when you can bring the kitten over.

Tonight is going to be an 'in' night, so I'll be on in the evening/night time. Just in time to catch money making beetles. So I'm thinking 10-11 p.m EST.

The porcupine saga seems to have no end. Gracie talks about how Labelle isn't her usual self. Labelle admits to having a fight with Mabel, but still remembers them from time to time. Will this saga end/have a happy ending?

So how about the memorial service? It was nice to send Michael Jackson off in style. My favorite parts were Stevie Wonder, John Meyer, and Usher.

Also, Paris Jackson. Talk about guts. Even though she only spoke for like 12 seconds, the fact she wanted to let the whole world know how much she loved her daddy... No words. Just choked backed tears. :'(

Nah, staying in this evening. I spent the last hour or so making a meticulous design, my eyes are a bit loopy, so I'm AC'ed out for the moment. We'll see what happens tomorrow night.

Mop it Up, my gate is open. You know what to bring...

The porcupine saga unfolds some more. Tom Nook talks about how after the Sister's parents death, that Labelle and Sable had it out. Labelle then left to try and make it as fashion designer. Looks like its not over yet...

And if any one wants else wants to come along and make some $$$, go ahead.
