There's nothing to report. Whoever lifted it probably didn't sell it. Or at least sell it in the 'traditional' channels. Like I said before, it doesn't have a charger, so I doubt many resellers will take it as is. The GS/EBs in my immediate area don't have used Mario Red DS Lites, no postings on Craigslist or ebay within a limited radius either...

After a month, its as good as dust in the wind.

New month, new goals!

The fall line-up at Gracie's is here, and it looks sweet, literally! Looks like I have my next goal, and with beetle season still in effect, this shouldn't take too long...

Also have a new design that goes well with a Mario hat if you have one. Slap on a Mario Mustache, and you'll be the spitting image of him! Ask about it, next you see me!

You'd hit a plateau, unless you're the super cream of the of the crop and that's that. For a bridge game MK Wii's VR ratings is a hardcore aspect. Getting to 9999 the legal way is out of reach for the average gamer. In my prime, the best I could get was 7800. When I was prepping for a tourney a while back (training with Team Reggie) the best I could get was 6500 or so, and would go back down when I had some bad races.

But its tough to compare because MK Wii is so prone to chance, (That blue shell that hit you just when you got to the finish line, costing you first place, that kart that pushed you out of bounds in Rainbow Road, etc) and unless you can make a comeback, that situation that was out your control costs you dearly. Conduit, not so much, aside from the rare, lucky shot/grenade here and there.

Last I checked, people normally play games to aim for the best, be at the top, not settle for average or better than average. Settling for a set rank and pwning n00bs may be fun for a while, but then you stagnate, and those n00bs start pwning you. The Gold players I've come across are not all god-like; they're prone to a well aimed shotgun blast or rocket, they just know how to stay alive longer. In short, man up, and grow a pair 

Sure, The Conduit's system is very RPGish, but it does reflect some level or improvement, and not severely punish you if you had a bad game. When I started out, I was getting owned left and right. Now at the 2nd to last Silver rank, I can hold my own.

Or if you don't care for ranks, and can play with friends whenever you want to, more power to you. Whatever makes you happy.

Oh yeah, sales. A rough way to measure is how many full games you join. The more full games, its selling.

P.S Found a glitch when playing ASE football. My highlight of the match was carefully tailing the player who was tailing the one with the ASE, and getting them both. When I came to pick it up, nothing happened. After getting shot, I noticed that the ASE was still at the spot. So whoever was in the lead won the match by default, and became a FFA...

Furthermore, your used games are typically destroyed, and you'll charge the same price for a used game that somebody has wiped their ass with as you will for a game that is prisitine.

Short GS story: I was on the hunt for the RE 0 2 years ago, and during my pursuit I found a case that had deep teeth marks. Whether they were human or animal, I didn't care. I just put it back, and washed my hands thoroughly when I had the chance...

Every time I hear XY publisher talking about how used games are the devil and must be stopped, I think they want to say "Gamestop is the devil", but can't because they do business with them. I mean, ebay, craig's list, Goozex, etc can't be making that much of dent are they?

You don't get the points for that particular match. Why would you drop half-way through the match willingly unless you didn't care?

That's the thing I like about how HVS did the point system. Its not a public leaderboard, so there's no e-peens on grand display. It tracks your personal progress, and getting to the gold rank is feasible for everyone, though it may take longer for others. So there's no real plateau. You get 25 points here, 50 points there, next thing you know, its the next rank!

No chance to level up either. 

I played a match of 11- FFA ASE American Football against my better judgment, but I got on a roll by running and dodging racking up the points. Next thing I know, I win the damn thing! I got a whole heap of EXP points. 

Then I joined a team game where I got absolutely owned...

The only match type that doesn't work in the public servers are CTF, or I guess CTASE. Without the ability to communicate with your team mates is an exercise in absurdity. I would to do a 12 player CTASE  one of these days...

Oh well. Live and learn. My experience with los H3x0rs are few and far between. If it ever gets overrun with them however, is the day it gets put away...

I would like to think there could be good hacks like fix the spawning issues that happen from time to time. You know what I'm talking about, you join a game, then you spawn in a wall and can't move, or spawn in a black area and die instantly. And fix whatever bugs, glitches, exploits that arise.

Do you only get the sidequest when you talk to both the Able Sisters and the others at Gracies?

I noticed that Labelle was sighing after I've bought a lot of stuff at GracieGrace. That could be the catalyst...

Since they're clearing out the inventory to make way for the fall line-up, buy out the the new furniture set when you get the chance?

I'm not finding flies in my trash. Is it only the boot or can the tire of can get flies as well?

I believe they're a time specific bug. I still have my boot out, and it comes in the afternoon-evening.

I think those make it easier to catch fish.

True. They will come to your bobber easier than the normal pole.

Finally got my windmill today, its not a bad site. It even lights up when it gets dark. It sadly takes up one chunk of land near the mouth of the river, but its a small price to pay for LUXURY.

The lucky mojo continued as Nook finally had a silver net for sale! So now all my equipment is silver except the slingshot, which is gold, but who's counting?

It does seem a bit easier catching some insects, as I caught a fly from the boot (anybody want it?) the first try.

The endless porcupine drama continues After confronting Labelle about her real name, she goes on to talk in a more relaxed dialect. She realizes the pain she has caused her sisters, and wants to work it out. But not before she learns from Gracie, and becomes a famous fashion designer like her mentor. This is one heck of a side quest...

^From the left: Stacy, whom I met through the Scuba Bunnies, was playing AC to pass the time during her pregnancy. When you see the strange flower near the entrance at my town, that was her parting gift to me, as she said she was going to hospital the next day to give birth. I've been taking care of that flower since... Pap continues to show his ability to grow hair instantaneously, albeit with some side effects. The far right fellow? That is my disproportionate self...

If they didn't, I'm pretty sure we did.  If you didn't backup your data, well...you were warned.

There's some data you can't back up. Any save data that uses WFC is stuck to the Wii. So no Brawl, no Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, etc.

Oh, also - Miis - gone.

That.Sucks.Hard.

Have you called and complained? They might refund you, usually Nintendo will do a lot to make you happy from my experience.

I don't want to jinx it, but I hope they don't give you the run around, telling you to call Minilec, and go through a rigmarole.

So its essentially free for all death match but ads some finer details to make it more interesting.

If there was a way to support a Mod Community, that would be a killer idea.

I hate to admit it, but I abuse the hell out of double KO's. Especially in when it becomes Rocket Arena. This is the first FPS that I know that doesn't penalize killing yourself. It should be the last. I just come in, fire my rocket, and hear the 'dooong'. I know I won't get a killing spree when rockets are involved, so I go in and take as many as I can...

Man, I feel for the UK gamers out there. I was appalled at the Call of Duty price hike, wouldn't be surprised if they did they same with Wii Fit +.

I don't even want to imagine what Rock Band: Beatles Edition would cost. Can't they give UK gamers a 'native sons' discount or something? [/off topic]

So I ran across my 1st definitive hax0r on the world servers, by the name of Nemy. He had a Carbonizer which needed no reloading, and I shot him point blank with the pistol, and his health didn't go down. 5 minutes in, he still had no deaths, and a ridiculous lead. I dropped out after he had 30 kills, whereas the 2nd place person had 10.

After  I loaded up the game after dinner, I seemed to have no luck joining games of any kind. I' spawn into the black areas, forcing reset after reset. I put the game away for its safety (why do you make me hit you?....)

As much as I'd like to let HVS know this is a problem, what can they do? They can't patch it, and they can't monitor every single game.

In short, a bad day for me

If you're talking about the face AC gave me, yes its ugly. I can't stand to look at it. Its a lie. Its a lie that no one should see...

Now my Mii face, that is me. Unfortunately, I don't wear it that often because I don't like the proportions. Though I've been told I do have a big head, so art imitating life and all that...

It uses the USB port.

I got an email from high voltage software. ( I have been giving them tons of advice of how to improve the game )

So they open up a store with swag, but can't start giving banhammers? 

I haven't found any blatent hax0rsisms; The last match I was on had one guy clearly better than the rest, but I got him a couple of times with double KO's. I find it funny how I get double KO's. I shoot, they shoot, he dies, I die the second after.

Met up with some friend of a friend that I haven't seen in a while, and noticed their coconut trees stretched pretty far back. I say it was about half-way between the shore and the next incline. We caught dozens of rare beetles which confirm my theory: The more coconut trees you have, the more chances you can get the money makers....

is this something that happens when you go absent for too long? Has anyone else had this problem?

For me, I buried a bunch of 'stuff', and found that I didn't get as many fossils and pitfalls. But as soon as people ran into the 'stuff', fossils started to appear.

Looks like the guys in my town have been hit with the fashion bug and want me to style them up. Thing is, every piece of clothes I give them, they turn away. They even turn away Gracie originals! After that, I simply refuse their requests. I make styles that hopefully people like, but I'm not a mind reader...

I transferred all my photos from the SD card to a USB drive on my cousin's computer, since I don't have an SD slot of my own. The last set of pictures I took before transferring was earlier in the month, so they're on my SD until I see my cuz again...

What special event takes place on the 16th of December?
