These guys obviously don't know what happened between EA and Nintendo.

EA wanted Origin as the Wii U's eShop. Nintendo declined, EA got butthurt and won't put games on the Wii U. Frostbite 2 was tested a little bit, but dropped after EA had a falling out with Nintendo.

The teams are hard at work creating new Wii U games. You guys just need to be patient. There are third party games out for the system to fill the gaps.

And for Lindy, you're opinion is welcome. Just don't bash Iwata when you don't know that the F*ck you're talking about. Then not give him credit for the Wii, 3DS, and DS success. If console/handheld generations were super bowls, Iwata has coached his team to three super bowl victories. DS won last handheld gen, Wii won last gen, and 3DS will win this gen.

Then say the Wii U sales are tanking worldwide, with no numbers to back it up, then you make it seem like the Vita is doing better than the Wii U. When the Wii U is kicking the Vita's ass worldwide, yet you only cherry picked the Japanese sales. You sounded like you worked for IGN PlayStation team or something.

The Vita is tanking worldwide, not the Wii U.

Nintendo is not perfect, they make mistakes, but please know what you're talking about before you speak about Iwata losing his job.

Thats, the whole reason Nintendo is developing games like Xenoblade 2, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Bayonetta 2, and The Wonderful 101. To get those gamers who aren't into Nintendo's main franchises as much.

Let me add a couple things to the whole Wii U is tanking thing. First John L needs to know his material before he talks. He makes the Wii U situation look worse than the Vita situation which is not the case. The Wii U is outselling the Vita on a worldwide bases. Yes, In Japan the the Vita outsold the Wii U, but portables do better in Japan, than consoles. The Wii U has also sold more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 did in their first 4 months on the market.... so were those systems tanking as well? Hell, what new system, other than the Wii hasn't tanked at it's launch?

The Wii U should be compared to other consoles on the market in Japan, which last week in Japan, it was the top selling home console. Trying to cover that up, or use the Vita to make your point was stupid. Second, I guess John L and the guys on the podcast here didn't get a chance to look at the Wii U sales. Because in the past months the sales have steadily increased in each region. The internet is making the situation look a lot worse than it actually is. Jan - 57K, Feb - 65 K, March - at least be 70 K or higher with the release of games like Lego City, Monster Hunter, and Need for Speed.

Next, he blames Iwata, for their mistakes, and in the end, I don't see the mistakes their having. Nintendo's games take a long time to develop for quality purposes. You just have to wait. I would have liked to get games sooner, but if it's not ready, it's not ready. Miyamoto takes forever to make his games. The Nintendo developers have more power than John L gives them credit for.

And my last point I want to make is why should Nintendo pander to Western game studios? If the Wii U had better graphics they still wouldn't support Nintendo as much. Western studios don't support Nintendo because they are afraid of Nintendo's killer Ips. They don't want to compete against Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. What should have Nintendo done? Make hardware as powerful as the PS4 and launch it at $400+ in 2012?

Should Nintendo pay Western developers to bring over their shooters so John L can play them on there? We all know those are his favorite genre. I think Nintendo should do what Nintendo does. Make great games. And at E3 were going to see that. You want to bash Iwata for the failures of Wii U at this point, and not give him credit for the 3DS? If anything he's 50-50 right now. The Wii U will turn things around, the sales of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in Europe and the US prove people will pick up the system if there are games.

Whatever their doing needs to come to the Wii U. However, I think Nintendo has some pretty damn good games coming. So whatever we don't get can be made up by other titles.

I picked up the Wii version when it came out but I found the challenges hard to to with motion controls. I beat the game with them, but I wouldn't exactly call DKC Returns on Wii good for skill based platforming and speed runs.

DKC on the 3DS makes sense for 3 reasons

1. More people get to play it on a sizzling hot console. The 3DS is putting up some huge numbers 30 million and counting. It makes sense for Nintendo to bring over one of the best Wii games to the 3DS.

2. The controls will be greatly improved. No waggle is good for 2-D platformers. Trying to beat the endgame challenges with motion controls is annoying.

3. Little time, more money. This helps Nintendo invest little to potentially make a lot. Retro will get royalties from this game, which helps them fund future Wii U games.

This game is coming to the Wii U. I spoke to my inside source and he was 99% sure this game was coming to PS4, Xbox 720, Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360.

I can see by John Metts reaction, and the rest of the cast that you guys are in full panic mode for no reason. Nintendo is in a real bad bad position? Hardly, the Vita is in a real bad bad position. The system has been out for a full year and it still has no games on it.

Its simple what Nintendo has to do to turn it around. Release new games, Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Pikmin, Smash Bros, Pokemon, Fire Emblem x Shinmegami, and Xenoblade will drastically help the console sell units.

Everybody, especially Johhny is looking at how things are now and painting a doom situation, when its FAR to early to panic, I can tell you never played sports, and if you did, when you got behind, you thought it was over.

Lets see how the Wii U sales are going to do this fall when all the big hitters come out. Trust me, just like the 3DS, Nintendo will come out of this one.

As far as third party support, it will grow, don't base Nintendo's 3rd party support on ports and EA not wanting to make Madden on the system. Once the PS4 and Xbox 720 come out, we should see more support for the system. No need to panic before a Mario Kart even comes out.

And as for Nintendo not campaigning 3rd party games like Black Ops 2....... THEY DID! Remember the media conference they had when the surprise of Bayonetta 2 was announced as a console exclusive? The dude from Activision went out their and they showcased the game and some of the exclusive features like Off Screen play.
