"girls of gaming"

Just though I'd recommend this special play magazine issue girls of gaming.  I'm sure many others will enjoy it as I have.  I also want to post a link to the official "girls of gaming" forum.  Here you can recommend gals you thought should have been in the mag, this should go without saying but you shouldn't post (on the official GoG thread) unless you've actually looked through the magazine.

Anyone who fantasizes so much about video game characters that they are compelled to buy a magazine to feed their obsessions is just...

Bleh.  It's not like admiring beauty in fictional characters is wrong, but this is somewhat ridiculous.

Taking "Geekism" to a whole new level, eh?...Sure, I admire some female game characters(more in the lines of Saria, etc. and not Lara Croft), but I wouldn't take it that far...Well, at least not in public...

I don't think that thinking about video game characters in such a way is wrong.  It's just like looking at something like hentai.  If that's your thing, then, well, that's your thing.  The fact is that it's just such a strange for such a magazine like that to be released.  Pornos have been around since the dawn of time, but this is just strange to me.

Plus, the human imagination is always much more...diverse than a magazine ever could be.

I agree with Lara Croft being repulsive.  I consider anything that gets bigger yet worse over the years to be stupid.  But Saria...you do realize that she's...twelve or so.

Since when does admiring a girl always have to be sexual?  Stop thinking like that...

That kind of thinking got Jacko in lots of trouble.

I don't think admiring game characters is necessarily wrong and/or strange until it gets to the point where you would prefer to spend time with drawings of a character than, say, a REAL person. Then it gets out of hand.

Why do we need to think? Can't we just sit here and go BLBLBLBLBLB with our lips for a bit?

I did a power point presentation on him in class.  Got many a laugh.

Saria's cool, but for some reason I always really liked Malon (may spell wrong. . . the one at Lon Lon Ranch).  Dunno why, she just seemed really cool, and for a video game character she was really beautiful.  Had me wondering if she was based off of a real person.

No kidding, also the magazine is far from pornographic, and lastly Saria's not a preteen she just looks like it, remember the forest folk(or whatever they're called) are ageless or immortal in other words.

evil intentions: No offense, but Zelda herself is the most ugly person I have ever seen in a game (It's worst in Windwaker).

Zelda is absolutely adorable in Wind Waker.  I like the Powerpuffish look more than the Lord of the Ring-Elf-look.

Toadette is absolutely adorable too.

Lisa Trevor is ugly.  Yet full of emotion.

Her face looks pretty bad as it is, but in Windwaker she just looks like those 40-year old "I smoked my whole life and want to be beautiful" women with 20 inches of makeup that look so ugly their facwes could be used to scare children away. I think extreme makeup can make anyone look like an old whore.
