Well, it's your average RPG; except better!  Hilarious cinematics, goofy graphics, annoyingly fun-to-solve puzzles, intuitive bosses...GET THIS GAME!

Definitely.  I'm not even an RPG fan and I love this game.  Very, very good.  Get it, definitely.

It's like Zelda with RPG-like combat that allows you to strengthen your attacks and evade enemies by timing your button-presses right. It's damn addictive and good.

My second-best game of the year, and the most enjoyable RPG I've ever played...It is most definitely a buy...In fact, buy two...

Pure enjoyable fun.

I tend to prefer light hearted funny games as opposed to...well....mainstream.  This game is perfect for me.  And you.  And Bill.  And hostile.  and KDR.  And you.

Oh yeah, sing it brother.

Definitely light-hearted, good old fashioned fun.  The part about mustard made me laugh.

it may be the best rpg on the gba right now (with golden sun being a very close second)
the battles in the game are very very fun- you wont mind getting into them often- it involves timed button presses- and for the first time you can dodge ever single attack thrown at you in the game- and i am not exaggerating- every attack- it adds a lot of depth to a normal rpg system- but the game is not just great there- music is great, the story is very well written- with lots of great cameos- if you like rpgs or mario games or nintendo at all - get this game
i call the big one bitey.

I love this game but I have thus far been disappointed that it seems that Mario and Luigi are the only people on your team. No Goombario this time around.

I'm in Tee Hee pass or whatever, and it is a pain in the arse.  Muchly.  Awesome game, though.  Best RPG ever (and my first, technically ).

It's my third. I played Pokemon Red (that was a while ago...) and Paper Mario.

Bill doesn't like all the buddies? Well at least Mario isn't ALONE. That wouldn't be a fun RPG. RPGs are supposed to have lotsa characters. The more the merrier. Until you get past 40. Then you have a massive migrane on you hands.

Berny: For me an RPG shouldn't have more characters needing to be leveled than spaces in your party, it's really annoying when your main character is thrice as strong as your weakest char. I just ignore the weaker ones later on...

Oh yeah, I did play a Pokemon thing.  Twas fine, but it didn't entice me to buy another.  Not an RPG fan.

I like them, but I rarely have time to play them. Very time consuming. I'll make an exception for TOS though. Can't wait for that one. But M&L isn't that bad. It's got save blocks all over the place. Although, I think I missed a few warp pipes somewhere. I'm already at the Air Strip and I only have warp pipes 1 and 6.

I think I prefer Mario & Luigi to being limited to just the Bros. It works out well. The battle system fits it perfectly (especially with the Bros. attacks). You don't have to worry about buying equipment for tons characters and then organizing them into a small party to decide which characters will work best in what dungeon. Not to mention extra characters would detract from the coolness of a lot of the dungeon areas. I especially enjoyed Joke's End, that was a great one.

But the game is just fantastic. The dungeons are well designed, the battle system is actually fun, the writing is great (Fawful is the king - "Princess Peach’s voice will soon be the bread that makes the sandich of Cackletta’s desires! And the battle shall be the delicious mustard on that bread! The mustard of your doom!"), the soundtrack fits perfectly, and you get to play as Luigi! Luigi rules.

Seriously though, the mustard thing rules, just like Hostile said.
Why do we need to think? Can't we just sit here and go BLBLBLBLBLB with our lips for a bit?

This, too.  I'm just getting to see what you mean. . . this game is awesome, since there's an entirely new land with all this great new stuff and characters and whatnot, but there are also tons of old references and enemies that are making a well deserved return.  Incredible game.

There's one room with lots of blocks in it. They have the blocks from every Mario game. I almost cried. Oh and for those of you who just LOVE hitting those CARAZY blocks with thems question marks, you may want to see this.

This game really comes close to the best RPG I've ever played, if not the best...You know they did it right when you want to get into battles... ^_^
