Looks awesome, but very Marel-ey. Much better than Amazing Spidey, but I'll forever have a soft spot for the Raimi trilogy for their modern campiness.

Awesome trailer even if it relied way too much on Tony Stark than it needed to.

I'm really hoping that they showed off a majority of the Tony Stark/Iron Man scenes just so that everyone knew this was MCU Avengers related and not some Amazing Sonyman reboot again.

I'm really hoping that Stark does not dominate this film, and certainly doesn't take up half of it like he did in Cap's Civil War.

But I really feel like the more of the movie is like this:

the better.

More of the HS stuff as well

oh, and here is the International Trailer:

The more Tony Stark the better! Tony Stark should be in every other movie release. Tony Stark in Ghostbusters. Tony Stark in Independence Day. Tony Stark in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It was nice to see Favs back as Happy Hogan in the Spidey trailer. I wouldn't say no to a Pepper Potts return either.

They should've cast Jamie Foxx for that scene, just for the lolz.

I think Tony will be in it a fair bit.  It seems like one of Peter's character arcs is going to involve needing to prove himself to Tony/The Avengers, based on the dialogue from the trailer.

Either way, I'm incredibly excited for this movie.
TVman is dead. I killed him and took his posts.

and a Spider-Man sequel has already been announced

we now know at least 1 hero survives the fight against Thanos.

and as a reminder, Marvel does have a slot for November 2019 reserved as well, but I doubt it gets used as there was a shuffle of movies once Spider-man came on board, and the Ant-man and the Wasp was announced.
A sequel to Doctor Strange would fit nicely there, if Disney's schedule wasn't already so jam packed....

p.s. Disney is minting currency from here on out.

Maybe it's just me, but the Homecoming trailer did not look good at all.

Also, that Vulture design is absolutely absurd.

The best thing about the trailer is that it starts with the Marvel Studios logo. I agree it was a little underwhelming - but it's still 7 months away from release, they can't possibly show *that much* of the movie.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

Personally I think it looks great. What would be absurd is Keaton dressed like this:

a modern tech upgrade with the bomber jacked to add the feathers around the neck, and the jet pilot mask all look great to me. That's not even including the mechanical claw feet. This Vulture would probably rip Falcon right out of the sky. He actually looks threatening and dangerous.

I don't like the power ranger fication of villains.

But I can imagine he takes off his helmet sometimes.

With the helmet off he has the neck fluff. Which is awesome.

Though the green suit with the lines would work on camera.

I'm pretty sure Michael Keaton would not take the role if he had to wear that though.

Sense it is physically impossible to have real wings that would allow a human to fly.  Mechanical wings are the best option.  These wings are very unique looking and separate the look from Falcon.  I like it because it is advanced tech, but it doesn't look like the most advanced tech in the world.

The only problem is Iron Man would take him out in 10 minutes flat.  So why is Spiderman needed again?

Tony is above sub Avengers level threats, and he's only in town to butter up Peter so he can bang Aunt Mae.

Possibly.  But still he said himself there are people that handle this sort of thing.  I wonder if they will have a sort of battle with Falcon and Vulture to prove this guy is a serious threat?  That could be something of a surprise.  Or they could do that with Iron Man.

I mean they have already shown that either A) Iron Man is choosing not to use lethal force with his Iron Man suit anymore...or his weapons are weak...since well in Civil War he basically didn't use any of his lethal weapons.

I hope the plot follows that Spiderman stops this "fake Avengers" gang and humiliates them, but they get off on a technicality and they want to seek revenge.  Basically it becomes a group that Spiderman creates because of his interference in the robbery.  It could add to the whole Tony Stark pep talk and the threat that Peter Parker gets in the trailer.

This is interesting, but they can't launch an entire show off of one minor movie cameo.  I mean Agents of Shield was successful because Agent Coulson was in several movies, and Shield was established in several movies not just Avengers.  Also, Shield is a much bigger franchise so it was an easier series to develop.

Damage Control is a minor, no name series.  If they are actually serious about launching this in the summer TV season, or fall season, they need to have these characters show up in a few different movies.  But honestly, Damage Control should be a DVD Blu-Ray special series that are 15 minute episodes attached to the purchase of movies.  Then you can just have the characters respond to the damaging events of a big movie, without it taking precious movie time from the series.  Also it saves money, because there is no way that Damage Control is a commercial success as an ongoing series.

I was thinking that Damage Control went from a TV show that will never be made, to a recurring MCU cameo, much like Stan Lee, but much more involved... in the background.

I'm hoping they cross from the movies to the TV shows, including the Netflix ones, but that's likely too much wishful thinking.

I can only imagine what the TV show would have been like though. I'm guessing lots of flashbacks to cleaning up in previous movies the "Battle for NY"

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Here is Marvel in 2017

What's you most anticipated title on the list?

My honest list is everything except Runaways and Inhumans
and I'm not that hyped for Defenders yet either, but Iron Fist could change that.

I'm most curious about Thor: Ragnarok, as I still haven't watched a Waititi movie, but I know he's going in a different direction than the last 2 movies.

I'm really hoping AoS: LMD is as good as the Ghost Rider arch to start the season.
Spider-Man is an obviously HYPED movie
same w/ Guardians. You just know Baby Groot is gonna steal this movie away.

Punisher better be as good or better than he was in DD S2
and I know next to nothing about IF, but if it's at least as entertaining as the majority of the rest of the Netflix Marvel shows, then I'm sure it will get me hyped for The Defenders.

unfortunately Cloak & Dagger got pushed back to 2018, so it's not on the list.

I loved Punisher on DD S2. I loved Episode 3 of season 2. It made it entirely worth it. 2017 is going to keep me occupied it looks like.

I'm looking forward to Iron Fist, Guardian's of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, The Defenders, Thor Ragnorok, and Punisher. If this is all this year than that is amazing.

We got all this marvel stuff, some dc stuff, Switch, Crazy political stuff,  Star Wars Episode VIII. 2017 will probably be the most entertaining year in a while.

I wish Runaways would have been a movie.  I feel like that story could be told very well in a trilogy.

1st movie)  introduce the characters together, they do some hero stuff learn there parents are the villains and they stop the parents from doing evil...but last minute they get away.

2nd movie) The parents decide they need to bring their kids into the business.  The kids have a choice to make, parents succeed in one plan with the help of someone of the team.

3rd movie) Grand finale end of the world stuff.  reveal who the spy is and everything.

As on ongoing tv show there is potential, but that first Runaway series was a tight really good story, that will only be hurt if it is dragged out into indefinite series.
