Hey Mr Khushrenada, did you want to try to dupe a couple things later this week? Maybe focus on one character's items at a time? I'm not in a hurry for the items, but just don't want to be holding you back.

I can do some travelling or leave the gates open for visiting too.

Ah, yes, I completely overlooked the Gracie listings. That's what I get for being lazy. I need the complete Gorgeous and Princess sets, and I think pretty much all but 2 or 3 of the Gracie set. So that ups the number of missing items a bit, huh. Sorry about that.

I did just get the coffee cup so ... that's one less anyways!

How nice and organized! It seems much more manageable if we work through one character's stuff at a time. I wonder about the White School Cap thing. Doing a quick search on it now, people do seem to think that they are separate entries. Each one is also listed on moridb.com . Which means... your catalog isn't 100%?!?!

Sorry, I was off travelling irl but I am back now! I am missing 2 diving creatures for my museum - spiny lobster and some crab. THEN I'll be done the museum. I've kind of given up on the badges. I just wasn't having fun trying to 100% them any more.

Sounds like you are hosting visitors now. I can make trips if you need some more afterwards. Just give me some suggestions of what to watch on Netflix...

Dang, so it sounds like you guys didn't have much luck after all? My internet connection seemed speedy enough - it was just the DS that was having issues. I had even turned off wifi on all computers, phones, tablets, no netflix or TV, etc.

Just when everyone is around to travel, the internet doesn't work!

Yep I can do some travelling. Breaking it up like that won't make it too bad at all. And since I' m getting such a great deal with all the furniture I wont even ask for 10k a visit! I'll be off til Tuesday so I'll look for you online over the next while.

Did you need to do some travelling yourself? I can leave my game on right now, but I prob won't be around to respond.

I think I just need the 2 pieces now... Famous painting and ancient statue.

I'm actually in mid october so I can still do the Halloween stuff too haha. And nice new thread title!

AH I'm sorry. I've been slacking off again (is there a badge for that)? I actually think my list is pretty up to date. I was hoping to get any fall items, Halloween pumpkin masks, and some other things so that you wouldn't have to worry about them, but I haven't been very successful with that so far.


What's the rest of your week look like? I might have some free time tomorrow, then probably not again until the weekend as I will be off visiting relatives for a couple days. I don't think we've been online on the 3DS at the same time, but I can always do some traveling (or leave the gates open) if there isn't time for the trading.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I had no idea Nintendo’s online store sold “refurbished” games along with their controllers and systems. Has anyone bought them before? Are they scratched discs that they've repaired? Damaged packaging? They have 8 Wii games for sale.

I wanted another pair of refurb wiimotes and nunchucks and also snagged a copy of NPC Pikmin 1!

Haha yes, I got a little burned out on the game. And yes I do, in fact, play other games than Animal Crossing! I didn’t want to bother you about the game, since I figured you were busy and perhaps needed a break too. I played a couple times now and then over the last months, but haven't really been motivated to keep up with it. I’ve been thinking of starting again so this is good timing. I’ve got to see where I’m at in the game, and probably update my list a bit, too.

I had to double-take when I saw your Animal Crossing Miiverse posts. I thought maybe I had jumped back 3 months, but they were recent! And what’s this? Your old avatar is back! I need to change my dead cat.

Anyways, yes, it would be awesome to wrap up this catalog stuff. And of course I can help with the town visit count and such. And then you can focus on becoming Mayor of NWR.

I had a horrible dream the other night that my game wouldn’t start…

I think you got all the big points. Here are some others

Wow transparent handhelds... that brings back memories. These almost feel more nostalgic than the NES themed XL.

The transparent designs weren't always my favourites, but I'd be curious to see how these actually look in person.

Ah must feel nice to get your houses organized and start working on making your town all purdy. Landscaping and beautifying the town is another whole game itself. Planting trees, finishing projects, or even remodelling your house exterior… It’s very satisfying seeing your town grow and feel more complete.

Grats on the AC anniversary! If you plan on creating patterns and paths, you will probably be playing for a while yet haha. And hurry up and update your town flag already.

Whoops, yes I did get the Warm Painting from you. I only need the 3. I’ll fix that Treasure Chest thing too. If I get any of the items on the list, I'll scratch them off. I can go work at Brewsters and check out the island for those items.

I CAUGHT ONE! Sunday, August 31st. I actually saw a few but most killed themselves by walking off the cliff or into the river. That seems about right about the nets, too. They don't seem to charge right away if you have the net out already.

I can finally move on to September!

Haha those are some scary theories Mop it Up. Maybe you switch to a villager in an alternate universe? Have you noticed if it rains doughnuts in any of these alternate timelines?

Thank you for the tips guys! I’ll give it a try tomorrow. I had been going into buildings as well as save-continuing now and then so it is reassuring to know that that actually resets things. Do you find it better to have the net out at all times, or not? They'll come after you if you have it equipped, but you'd be prepared to nab em and you also might actually hear them hiss at you if you get close.

Cool that some of Lucina and Shulk's colours seem to imitate other characters from their respective games. Same goes with Megaman, too, but that is less surprising but still cool. Looks like there are some other neat ones like Eliwood Marth, Medusa Palutena and the already mentioned above Fierce Deity Link, Alph, Wolf-coloured Fox.

Grats on catching all of the bugs! I saw your post on Miiverse the other night *Yeah'ed*. I still need the damn tarantula so I haven't moved on to September yet. I've only received 2 badges since we last played. I'm going to keep working at them, but uggghh so much woooork.

The Strain

I’m watching it, too! After all, I went and posted about it in the New TV/Movies thread.

Yeah, it’s kinda bad. Some of the acting is terrible, and other times I’m not sure if its the writing or the direction, or what exactly is to blame. I’m glad that they’re getting to the real vampire horror stuff now - perhaps they should’ve quickened the pace a bit to get there sooner. It’s full of clichés and its predictable yet I’m still watching. It should continue to get more interesting.

Like you said, it’s really cheesy, but makes for a fun, silly B-horror show. It's entertaining.
