Yeash!! I think it's weird that the 3DS had a better e3 than the Wii U (In my opinion) and there show doesn't start yet lol.  This doesn't look as  good as the Wii u one to me.  I think they should add good 3D effect and online and local multiplayer.

After watching the pre E3 Nintendo Direct.  I'm sure we all know what 90% of the show is going to be about.  Wii U.  I was actually looking forward to 3DS though.

Nintendo's E3 show is probably going to be 85 percent Wii U.  5 percent bragging and 10 percent 3DS.   I really hope that isn't true, though it probably is.  I just want to see Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem, Paper Mario and a few new games for 3DS.  I can understand if they don't accounce new games, considering that half of the games the games for E3 2011 aren't even release yet.  Maybe later on a press event?

TalkBack / Re: Larger 3DS Redesign Potentially Coming This Summer
« on: June 04, 2012, 03:25:25 PM »
Wouldn't this potentially ruin the display?  Don't get me wrong, I think the screen being bigger is great, but with out the sharpness of the display and pixels being larger, the resolution would be considerably worse, thus making the 3D effect, together with the resolution less effective.  Considering that the default resolution can't be change, it's built into the game card.  If this is legit, Nintendo should still keep the smaller one on the market for people who want to pay less and have better picture res.

With it being 0.5 times larger, the pixels would be 0.5 times larger.  Making the display significantly worse.  That is the equivalent of making a 1080p video 720p.   Not a huge flaw, but I think I'll be buying the smaller one when I get money.  Not to mention this is FAR to early for redesign, It hasn't even been a year and a half.

From my knowledge the 3DS doesn't even have a flaw significant enough to warrant a redesign (Aside from the battery.)

Hmm.... I just realized that in the Mario Galaxy games Mario is in a space setting, so that sets Mario up as a perfect candidate for a crossover with Metroid or Star Fox. ;)

For all we know Rosalina could be Samus' sister or something...

Epic Nintendoception.

Seriously though, that is a far fetch rumor.  I never thought it was true (Regardless of how much I wanted it to be)  As long as there is a Wii U Starfox and Metroid game I will be good.

I plan to watch it on Spike.  Bandwidth sucks.

Monolith is now on my watch list.  If this gets decently good reviews, this will be a day one purchase.  Once I get my 3DS of course.  Weird though, Monolith belonged to Namco a few years back.  I wonder how a first party nintendo dev will work on a abnormal third party crossover.  Guess we'll just have to see.

As long as NoA keeps updating the rewards I'm fine.  The Club Nintendo messenger bag is what I carry my Laptop and my DSi lite in.  I used there desk calender last year, the one they give to people who reach the gold status.

@NinsageDo You have a 3DS?

68
This gives me an Idea.  Nintendo could use QR codes in Super Smash Bros. 4.  Since the Wii U and 3DS will both have cameras.  You could unlock additional character colors and trophies.  I'd prefer it over the conventional means of unlocking stuff.

Back on the topic of Mario Tennis Open.  It Looks pretty awesome.  I'd consider it, but I heard Neal say the online was laggy.  I know how slow my connection is, I couldn't  even play SSBB.  I could Mario Kart Wii though.

A few more things that just came to mind.

Nintendo 3DS will be getting a revision announcement a little after E3, I think it will still be in June.  Remember Iwata said "By the end of the next fiscal term, we won't be selling the system below cost."  So I say a new version is coming.  Not like you can just jack the price up without some sort of retribution.  Or maybe they just plan to bundle it with a game, and increase the price by 30 dollars.

If Nintendo just ups the price, than fans will be pretty upset.  Especially the ones who haven't bought it yet.

Just give me Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, NSMB2 and a Golden Sun sequel and you'll have my money, Nintendo.

The Bomb....

TalkBack / Re: Metroid: Other M Review
« on: May 22, 2012, 02:57:33 PM »

 Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated example for Nintendo of poor judgement when it has come to control schemes this generation.

I disagree.  Sure the Wii remotes are less than ergonomic, what with there poor button placement when in horizontal mode, but then actual movement and responsiveness in most Nintendo developed games are unmatched.  Mario Kart, Metroid Prime, Galaxy, Zelda ect.  The one problem I do have is that the default wii remote and nunchuck combo, only has one analog stick.  I sure wish that you could rotate the camera in Skyward sword, or in Xenoblade easily without a Classic controller.  I think the problem isn't the controls it self, just the limitations of the actual Hardware.

The DS needs a analog, the Wii needs a second analog and more comfortable face buttons.  Other than that, I don't see much of a problem.

TalkBack / Re: Pandora's Tower Review
« on: May 22, 2012, 02:34:18 PM »
1. There have been instances where NOA has released graphic games.Also Australia gave it a rating M and it was released over there which translates to a T rating over here. Don't think that will be the issue here.

NoA operates differently than the other Nintendo corporates.  NoA hasn't publish a graphic game in ages.  A girl eating demon hearts is a bit above Nintendo of America's rating quota.

2. I don't think that is true. It is just that they are working in phases. Also you must have forgotten about the Pandora's Tower month that wrapped up recently. I was apart of it and did my part. I have been keeping track of the game and it is a solid game from what I have been seeing.

I remember, I was on there site a few weeks back.  I still think it's getting by far the less publicity of the three game, which is sad,  considering this is the one I wanted the most.

@Broodwars.

Just did some research, the reviews seem pretty mixed.  IGN gave it a 9.0 and GameSpot gave it a 5.5.
If it was on WiiWare I'd eat it up.  I don't have a PS3, I might try the XBOX version since it's only 15 dollars.
I does look a lot like Castlevania.

@tendoboy1984
Lol.

@Evan_B

3DS is going all out.  I haven't seen a system with so many awesome announced games within the first two years.  Metroid will definitely be coming for 3DS and Wii U, as well as a  localize Fire Emblem: Kakusei.

Monster Hunter 3G and 4 will be seriously great to have.  I held off buying Monster Hunter Tri for Wii, because I Think that series is better fit for a handheld.  Hell, I can expect a ton from Capcom and other third parties.

On the topic of Zelda, I don't mind if Nintendo waits a few years before releasing another.  Just don't want a remake again.  Most likely see a 3DS one before a Wii U Zelda, though.

On the topic of Mario, I see Paper Mario releasing Holiday, and Luigi's Mansion early next year.

Monolithsoft's Xenoblade Chronicles was an Awesome game.  I'd love to see that dev work on a more powerful machine.  The 3DS game could be interesting too, I'd be able to sink more hours in knowing it's for a handheld.

Personally, I love Final Fantasy, I just wish they supported Nintendo platforms more often.  And yes, I agree Final Fantasy Crystal chronicles for Wii U will be awesome.  It could support Four players without the need for extra GBA or DS.  Bravely Default needs a US/Europe release as well.  SqureEnix is a vital 3rd party.

A CGI does seem a bit unlikely though, Kid Icarus Development  just ended in January, and I think it's still in the planning stages.  Would still be great to see.

Finally for Wii U,  I'd like to see a new 3D Mario Platformer and those Demos you mentioned.  We also need the final specs so people will stop talking like it's weaker than the 360/PS3.

Just two weeks from now......
