Nintendo Gaming / Are SCART cables good?

I dont know where else to post this so I'll just post it here. I recently bought a new TV thinking it was a HDTV but when it arrived to my door I soon found out it that it doesnt actually take regular component inputs(damm you Ebay). It does accept S-Video, RGB, YCrCb, YPrPb etc.. but only through a SCART input. The only reason I bought a new TV was to play my GC games in 480p and now I have a feeling that Im screwed. I was just wondering if I bought a SCART cable for my GC would it produce better picture quality(480p)? or would it just be the same picture as the yellow,red,white-composite cable. Any answers would be helpful and appreciated.

How the hell does this work?! This is just craziness. Who is this guy, I mean first he claims he can make your breasts larger with ringtones and at the end of the article he says he'll soon find a way to make you more attractive to the opposite sex... WITH RINGTONES!       Does anyone else believe this would actually work???

OK, this is probably a retarded question and, like most of the time, Im probably missing something important or something obvious, but yesterday i watched the trailer for Killer 7 again. I've had trailer on my computer for ages and I've seen it like 10 times but until now I never noticed the words "Lives on a star" was written in big letters in the beginning sequence of the trailer. WTF does that mean?

This is a brilliant idea. This would mean that all the graduates here could make great AAA GC games and would increase the amount people developing for the console.

Fable is looking brilliant but unfortunetly I dont have an Xbox. Does Microsoft have any plans to release this game for the PC?

GameMaker is a brilliant little program. Does anyone know where i can find some sort of document that teaches you GML, and not the rather dodgy tutorial that can be download from their site.
