Hmm 15 people have signed up thus far.How many people are needed so that the Bomber gets included? Also what is a good townie to mafia ratio so that the game is balanced?

I think I'm going to make the mafia a little larger in this one, because I think they are underpowered. This is my first game, so hopefully I don't make it too unbalanced.

I'd say if we get 5 more, I'll go ahead and put the bomber in. Think that's feasible?

Well there was 21 people that signed up in the AC remake game and the bomber was added.I'm not really sure how much would be good for this game.Any former hosts want to answer this question?

Well you don't have to but it adds to the game a bit of personality.
You can even roleplay using your chosen character.Which recently there hasn't been alot of with a few exceptions.The last one I saw where there was lots of role playing was the F-Zero game.

That's why I turned down the offer to join. I'm not creative enough to come up with anything remotely interesting for things like this. That doesn't mean I wouldn't have tried, but it would have failed. Badly.

I thought we were just playing a Nintendo themed game of mafia and you could role play if you wanted. How much role playing happens in a typical game?

Yep that is the case Stratos.You can roleplay if you want to.You don't have to if you don't want to.

It varies Stratos in the past there was alot;recently not so much.

It probably depends on the group dynamic. Some people only do it if enough of the group is as well and others will do it even if they are the only one in a room. They just love these things. I've never done anything like this in a message board so well see how I do.

There usually aren't many people role playing; the last time more than one or two people did it was because there was a prize involved.

Yeah, roleplaying's not required. You choose a character just so the host can write a daily story (deaths/kills/win/lose/etc.) that makes some sense. A lot of the times, if you don't choose a character, the host just assigns one for you.

Pap64: I like it, and Wario is awesome. It's kind of a shame though that bits of it are cut off due to the smallish size of author icons around here, though it still looks fine. EDIT: Also your custom title still totally fits with Wario.

Maxi: Yours kind of creeps me out a little... or is that what you were going for?

I don't think I'm going to have time to join this game. (Plus, Luigi is already taken!)

About mafia role-playing: I've only played once, but it seems that if there aren't many role-playing posters in the game, attempting to role play gets you killed. I guess it makes you stick out too much, and especially when there's a secret bomber in the game, it's easy for others to get suspicious of you.
